There are so many amazing, entertaining, informative, quality things to do on the Internet...and then there's the Mosen Explosion to offer up a bit of contrast.
I've got four hours of great music in store this week, which you're welcome to influence through your tweets, emails, and calls to the explodaphone. Remember, you can call that any time, at 206-600-5486. Let your voice ring out throughout the planet and surrounding galaxies, all with one simple phone call to 206-600-5486.

Sadly, wee Anne is unable to be with us this week, so Jonathan Mosen, her humble understudy, will be trying to get you into the right frame of mind for a groovy weekend, immediately after Brian Dalton welcomes you to it.
So why is it called the historic, experimental, exploding zone, eh? Why?
It's historic, because this will be the first ever show streamed on my brand new computer, which arrived and I set up yesterday.

We have plenty of great music by the Beatles together and separately on Beatle Beat this week, including a few unusual tracks.
Did you know that back in the early 70s, Ringo Starr sang in a lavish orchestral version of The Who's rock opera, Tommy? It's just been re-released, and we'll let you hear what Ringo sounded like.
Paul is part of a brand new love song for the earth, seeking to raise awareness about climate change. We'll give it a listen.

Ooh life is busy at the moment! I mean ooh! But I'd rather be busy, so that's not a complaint. Still, it will be nice to take time out and spend four fun hours with the Mosen Explosion family this week. And what a business we have to go through to make the show possible this week! What a business I tell you!

It won't be long, yeah, until we're back with another Beatle Beat here on Mushroom FM. The show first airs at 1 PM Eastern, 6 PM in the UK, on Monday, and replays throughout the week. Check out our schedule for other broadcast times.
It was a significant event in Beatle history this week in 1969, when John formed a new band, albeit a temporary one, to perform at a rock and roll revival in Toronto. We'll play some of that performance, and explain its significance in terms of the demise of the Beatles.

Well, cherubs, that week just sped by, did it not. It doesn't seem long ago that I was telling you about another Mosen Explosion here on Mushroom FM. And look, here I am again, telling you about another Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM. And it's a completely different Mosen Explosion on Mushroom Fm than the last time I was hear telling you about a Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM, which was a different Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM again. Incredible!
I'm counting the hours until the big Apple reveal. Are you? What are you hoping for?

Next week, we have something special for you on Mushroom FM. We're giving you plenty of notice, so you can tell Siri to put it in your calendar.
Please join me, Jonathan Mosen, and the Tech Team for an Apple event special call-in show.
At 1 PM Eastern next Wednesday, 9 September, Apple will be revealing its latest iPhones. It's also expected we'll see a radically revamped Apple TV, and maybe even a larger iPad. Plus, there'll be more details about iOS 9, ahead of the release of the gold master to developers.

In the olden days of Internet radio, I hosted a popular show called Beatle Beat, where we looked at the latest Beatle news, looked back at this week in Beatles history, played some very rare performances and documentaries, and most of all, played plenty of popular music by the fab four together and separately.

Barring any teething troubles, we're back again with another Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM. Why the management allows this, I really do not understand. Nevertheless, we have four hours to fill, and if I brush up on my technical skills, I just feel we're gonna manage to send all those bytes through the Ether.
I've been doing the wacky news segment on the show for a very long time, at least 15 years. Yet I think this week is the first time there's been a wacky news story involving blind people, and it is so wacky that I hope I can read it without dissolving into hysterics.

We're in celebration mode at Mosen Towers, and Bonnie even woke up at stupid o'clock to make me a huuuuuuuge mushroom omelette. But I'm taking time out from the celebrations to send you a personal invitation to the Mosen Explosion welcome home party on Mushroom FM.
We're back home, at the same old time, 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, right after Down for Double with Brian and Lulu.
