Hi everyone, it's hard to believe that it's less than 48 hours since votes for the Mushroom FM Holiday Countdown went live, and I'd like to give you a quick update.

If you are on my side of the globe, it’s 24 days until the big Guy comes down the chimney, and if you aren’t on my side of the globe, you have to wait an extra day—meaning I get the biggest presents. Just kidding, but we do have a present for you. Bonair officially kicks off the holiday season Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps.
Greetings! The holiday partying season is almost upon us, so what better way to celebrate than to crack out a few disco classics! We'll do just that in the Pop Vault this week with a little help from Abba, Mark Ronson and Katrina & The Waves. We'll also take time to appreciate the Moulettes' latest album and perhaps speculate as to one or two of their musical influences. We may even squeeze in a festive favourite to help inspire your votes for the grand Mushroom FM Christmas Countdown! Sounds like a pretty packed hour to me.

At Mushroom FM, we've always been full of fun at the festive season. This year, we're keeping up much cherished Mushroom FM traditions, while at the same time freshening them up with a few twists. We have plenty to unveil over the next little while, but today we're proud to announce our 2015 holiday countdown.
Listeners who've been part of the Mushroom Crowd for a while will remember that we launched this countdown tradition in 2011. In 2012, we improved on it even further. And this year, it's a spectacular.

The Shed is opening up again in less than an hour!
That’s right, tonight at 11 Pm Eastern, that’s 5 PM Sunday in New Zealand, and 4 AM in the UK, I’ll be back. What a scary thought.

Oh boy! I am looking forward to getting behind that microphone this week. But I look forward to getting behind that microphone every week. This week though, we have plenty of awesomeness on the show. First of all, Mushroom FM's first big event since our return will be unveiled. And it's a really good one. It could totally change your Christmas for the better.

This week’s theme is radio and television, so all our music will have radio or tv in the title or lyrics. We’ll reflect on our favourite and least favourite tv shows, radio personalities, and stations, along with hearing your thanksgiving plans.
