Hello all-
This week we have no topic as such just music. Some Pete Seeger, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Paxton etc.
Watch out for two very long folksy tracks in the second half of the show.

Another Mosen Explosion time has nearly rolled around again. "Hip hurray! Hip hurray! We're back on Mushroom FM...Hip hip hip hurray!" Oh wait, I can't do that, it's being done elsewhere i tell you.
Anyway, the thing is, the thing is you see that it's a busy old month at Mosen Towers because three out of the four bananas have birthdays in May. Sometimes, I wonder what could have possibly caused that, but the doctor told me that if I think about that too much, I'd go blind.
So we have some banana-birthday related activity to report on the show this week.

She’s back! While the horses prepare for next week’s Preakness, Bonnie Mosen is here with Bonair 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps for another exciting two hours of great tunes, great conversation, and even greater listener participation. She’ll recap the Derby and Oaks—for which she had both winners, play your requests, share a recipe in “Food for Thought” and tell you about her exciting new book from Mosen Consulting. Stevie Wonder celebrated a birthday on Friday May 13, so we will be sure to play some Stevie including Superstition.

Tonight at 11pm Eastern, The Land Sings shines a spotlight on Joan Baez. She was 75 in January.
We have all her hits and some rarities. We have the great songs from the early 1960's.
And what else can I say about this giant of folk music? Tune in to find out...

Holy soup! That week went by quickly, and once again I am much anticipating the four fun hours I get to spend in your company, as the Mosen Explosion takes to the mighty Mushroom's virtual airwaves.
We've got a great mix of wacky news stories this week, including two from Maine, which isn't a state we hear from that often.

How much does Bonnie Mosen love being in touch with you, her loyal, eager and devoted listeners, every week? Well the answer is, a lot. A huge enormous voluminous lot. Except she loves the Kentucky derby much more. I know that will break your heart, but it's true.

Thanks to the generosity of Mushroom FM management, the Mosen Explosion is back again for four hours of meh, blah, and oy. Well at least it would be if not for your input. There's less meh when you tweet in with interesting observations, there's less blah when you contribute your words of wisdom via email, and there is most definitely far less oy when you call the Mosen Line.

It’s the post-birthday Blues Bonair, Saturday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. The party’s over, and what a party it was! Feeling a little let down? Sort of that feeling you get right after the holidays when the presents are all unwrapped and all the goodies eaten? No worries! I am here to perk you up, remember the party, play some great tunes, have some lively conversation, and maybe share a recipe. So put that prize you might have won away and tune in.

Hi Everyone. This is Darren, writing amidst a mammoth clear-up operation which is well underway on board the decommissioned Mushroom Flyer. Speaking as one who makes a living from the catering industry, I have seldom observed such signs as these which point toward a party having happened of legendary proportions.
