Jonathan is one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever known. Today, the New Zealand Government has announced that my husband and Mushroom FM's founder has been made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Today is the Queen's Birthday holiday here, an occasion where outstanding New Zealanders are honored. Jonathan's honor is for services to the blind community.

Birthdays come around once a year, but this one is especially dear.
On April 24, Jonathan, who doesn’t look or act a day over 25, is celebrating his fiftieth trip around the sun.
We would love to have everyone for a big party at Mosen Towers, but the place just isn’t big enough.
So, Join us on a special Mosen Explosion, Sunday April 21, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. EDT 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. in the UK for music, memories, and lots of laughs.
We can’t offer you cake or champagne, but we do want you to be a part of this special show.

The world lost an officer, a gentleman, family man, and statesman this week, and we will be remembering Senator John McCain in music.
No matter what side of the political fence you sit on, Senator McCain was what a politician should be.
We are taking songs from his top ten playlist as reported by NPR in 2008 and mixing them amongst the usual music from the seventies.
