The Land Sings: A Re-Run

Hello all-
I was in Tauranga, New Zealand, for much of the week. On top of that i seem to have a cold I picked up down there. So, The Land Sings this week will be a re-run of last week's show about trains and stuff.
It's still on at the same time - 11pm ET on Thursday and replayed throughout the week.
I'll see you all in the salon car on MushroomFM's birthday weekend and next week for a brand new The Land Sings.

Big news! For our birthday, we have multiple copies of @KNFBReader to give away

As we've detailed previously, Mushroom FM has a stack of great prizes to give away for our sixth birthday. But there's one more thing, and it's huge.

We're proud to have KNFB Reader aboard the Mushroom Flyer. If this is an app you've been wanting, you'll have a number of chances to walk away with your choice of iOS or Android KNFB Reader absolutely free. All you have to do is register for our birthday event, and stay listening.

What's in the prize cupboard for our amazing sixth birthday weekend

Six years ago, Mushroom FM was born. We unveiled an exciting fusion of Internet broadcasting and social media. We've been honoured to be a guest in so many homes and to accompany people all around the world as they journey with their mobile device. The station broadcast continuously until November 2013, took a break, and then relaunched even better than ever in August last year.

The Mosen Explosion, with an unusual amount of spaghetti

Last week, it was Swedes. This week, there's plenty of spaghetti, as our wacky news segment is rather invaded by stories about the church of the flying spaghetti monster. Golly! You be careful with that, spaghetti is full of all the wrong carbs. Oy!

Knock, knock, is anyone there?

Not yet there isn’t, but from 11pm Eastern tonight, that’ll change.
That’s right, the shed will open up again for yet another week.
That’s 3Pm Sunday afternoon here in New Zealand, and 4am Sunday in the UK, by the way.
AS usual the music selection will be all over the place.
The triple threat is back, and so too is the Live and Loud Segment.
Requests are always welcome.

Come on in, don’t be shy.
As always, I’ll look forward to seeing ya!

It's Bedtime on Bonair

It’s bedtime on Bonair—Saturday evening 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. Studies tell us we are more sleep deprived now than ever before and this has a huge impact on our daily functioning. For blind people, this can be especially true, due to the non24 disorder. On today’s show, we will discuss sleep habits—good and bad, and find out what your recipes are for a great night in the sack! No, not that kind of night!

The Land Sings about Trains and stuff

Hello all-
I hope you will join me at 11pm eastern time tomorrow, Thursday, for The Land Sings. That's two hours of folk music from the land.

Don't forget about folk45, i am eagerly looking for guests for this. If interested email mara@mushroomfm.com and we'll go from there.

This week we sing about random things for the first hour. [Don't forget you can write to me with requests].

The Mosen Explosion's online, and on the phone

I'm taking a break from loading the Mushroom Flyer with birthday provisions to bring you another jolly old Mosen Explosion. First, my sincere thanks to uncle Dean for taking such good care of the show last week with all that talk about school days when I was stricken! Stricken I was! But now I'm unstricken and I can't wait to get back on the air.
