Once again, Super Bowl Sunday has rolled around, and I'd just like to say, go Yankees!
Whether you intend watching the game for the sport, the ads, the half-time entertainment or you're going to skip the thing altogether, the Mosen Explosion is here ahead of time to get you warmed up for whatever comes next.
I'll be playing a few songs about both states competing for the ultimate prize in StopStart, and if you have any favourite songs about either state, get them into me via email, Twitter, and of course on the Mosen Line at 206-600-5486 which you can call any time.

It’s Bonair, the post Groundhog Day edition, on air Saturday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST right here on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. The groundhog didn’t see his shadow, so I can’t guarantee an early spring or fall—depending on which side of the globe you spin on, but I can guarantee a fun filled show with lots of good tunes and conversations. As seems to be happening all too frequently this year, we will once again remember a musical personality that has passed on by playing some Earth Wind and Fire in memory of Maurice White.

It’s the first Saturday of the month and that means it is time to join your fellow readers round the world to discuss January’s Fun Guys book club selection “Red Rising” by Pierce Brown. The discussion will commence noon EST and at the end of the chat brian Hargen will announce February’s book. To participate please visit www.mushroomfm.com/bookclub. As always, highlights of the discussion will air in the second hour of Bonair which will be on from 6:00 – 8:00 EST later the same day.

Sadly, Brian Dalton is away this weekend, so he can't welcome you to it. He sent a note though. Anne Cosgrove is out of the zone this week, and she also sent a note.
What to do, what to do. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Mushroom FM in much desperation announces a four hour weekend welcoming, exploding zone.

Or find me on Twitter: @kiwisnake
The usual features are there of course, as well as plenty of ramblings from me.
Hope you can join me in the shed later tonight.

When the Mosen Explosion is heard in the US, UK and lots of other places, it will be 31 January. 31 January? I mean like, dude! That is like totally last month! It'll be February in New Zealand by then, so we look forward to exploding you into next month with four fun hours.
I'm out of minimalist vacation mode now, so the wacky news is back, and there's even a banana report. Bonnie will be here with her bulletin. Musically, it's wide open this week, after a series of tribute shows in January.

New time! New day! But the same ole Bonair this Saturday 6:00 – 8:00 EST on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. We’ll be taking it kind of easy this Saturday with some relaxing music to help you wind down from the week and play anything else you might want to hear. It is your last chance to learn about this month’s book club selection before next week’s discussion. “Food for Thought” will replay the bullet proof coffee demo by popular demand, and who knows what topics I will come up with.

She’s back!! Yes, Bonair is here—Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your fav apps. We are of course shocked and saddened by the loss of yet another great artist, Glenn Frye, and will be playing many of his tracks—solo and with the Eagles. This week’s “Food for Thought” will answer the question, “What the heck is bullet proof coffee anyway? And we will give an update on the book club. We have an exciting announcement you won’t want to miss, so pour your beverage of choice—bullet proof or not, and join in the merriment.

That’s right, just when you thought your Saturday night was safe, I’ve been let loose, again.
From 11 PM Eastern tonight, that’s 4 AM Sunday in the UK, and 5 PM Sunday afternoon here in New Zealand, the Shed doors will be opening up, once more.
Four hours of Madness, mayhem, music, and talk awaits you.
Even the triple threat and the live and loud segment make a return, with a small difference this week.
So if you’re brave enough and decide to tune in, or maybe, just maybe, you missed me, I’ll look forward to seeing you from 11pm Eastern tonight.

Boo hoo! No Bonair this week! Due to another commitment, Bonair will not air this Tuesday. We will be running a repeat of last week’s show featuring David Bowie music. No worries I will be back next week with great tunes, a tasty treat, and all the hot air that’s Bonair.
