Beef Ribs, violins, and more, coming up on Damo's All Day Breakfast.

this week on Damo's All Day Breakfast, I'm trying my hand at smoking beef ribs for the first time. It's not a common cut of meat here in Australia, and it certainly isn't something I've done before, but we'll talk through what I plan to do, and if anyone has any better suggestions on how to cook these I'd be keen to hear them.

I also have a rather interesting cover this week, which features violins and chellows of all things, so make sure you tune in for that.

Damo does Dessert for Breakfast

This week on Damo's All Day Breakfast, I try my hand at something I don't usually do - making a dessert. To be more prcice it's a chocolate moose. It's also dairy free, reasonably healthy, tastes great, and is really easy to make.
to find out how, as well as to hear a great mix of Aussie music and friendly chat be sure to join me (Damo) for Damo's All Day Breakfast from 4 PM Eastern. If you'd like to get in touch during the show, you can email damo@mushroomfm.com or tweet @damoonair using the #mushroomfm hashtag.

Australia Day Lamb on Damo's All Day Breakfast.

On Tuesday January 26 I along with most Australians celebrated Australia Day, and as tradition dictates we fired up the Barbecue since that's what we do around here. On this occasion though, I cooked a butterflied leg of lamb with Greek style lemon and herb potatoes. Even if you don't have a barbecue, you can adapt this recipe so that you can do it in the oven. Make sure you tune in at 4 PM to find out how it is done. As always there will also be a great mix of music and friendly chat and plenty of opportunity for you to join in the discussion.

Damo's All day Breakfast returns live for 2021.

After a few weeks' break during which nothing went quite according to plan, the All Day Breakfast returns for another year. I have lots to tell you about, including the afore-mentioned holidays, some new tech and cooking toys, The Big Caravan Hunt of 2021, Australia day, and also Bob Evans... just for something different.

the Best of Damo's All Day Breakfast.

For many people in the southern hemisphere summer time is when we take a break from work, and other things, and get some much needed rest. Over the next few weeks I'll be doing exactly that. So while I'm having a break until the 24th of January, we'll be playing some of my favourite shows from 2020. that's why I'm calling it "The best of Damo's All Day Breakfast."

These include my interview with Camp Oven cooking expert Ranger Nick, my chat with Belinda O'Connor about bioptic driving, and my interview with peter Black about ham radio.

the Christmas Edition of Damo's All Day Breakfast

Coming up on the Christmas Day edition of Damo's All Day Breakfast, I'll fill you in on the results of the Great Christmas Ham Experiment of 2020. I'll also talk you through doing the Christmas turkey Damo style.

Talking Christmas Ham, Talking Christmas Pudding, and maybe even Talking Turkey this week on Damo's All Day Breakfast.

this week, since it's almost Christmas, it's time for me to fire up every cooking appliance I can get my hands on, and start preparing food for our family's Christmas feast.

To that end, this week on the show I thought I'd share with you a few of my favourite Christmas recipies, including Christmas ham, and Christmas pudding.

Horse races, Elections, and Democracy Sausages for breakfast on Damo's all Day Breakfast.

this week on Damo's All Day Breakfast, there's lots to talk about. It's an election weekend in my home state of Queensland so we'll talk accessible voting, and the slightly odd practice in Australia of the Democracy Sausage.
We'll also talk about the Melbourne cup, which is widely regarded as the race that stops the nation. There's another in our series of aussie cover versions, and the usual mix of great music and friendly chat.

Just a quick reminder to join me for Damo's All Day Breakfast

Since a lot of parts of the world are weither finishing or starting daylight saving around this time, and a few listeners have expressed confusion regarding when to listen, I just wanted to remind you to join me at 4 PM U.S. eastern for your weekly quota of Aussie and Kiwi music, comedy, and friendly chat. This week has been a fairly busy one for me, so I haven't been able to get outdoors and cook up anything new, but there's lots to tell you about including cycling disasters, building projects, and new tech that I'm playing with, so I do hope you'll join me.
