Have you heard all of the cool new shows coming from our Mushroom Pot yet? It’s entering week three of service today. Based on measurements of traffic to our servers, it seems that many of you have discovered all the great new shows, and are listening longer. Thank you so much.
Hi everyone, it's with sadness but grateful thanks for his immense contribution that I advise the Mushroom FM family that Brian Hartgen has resigned from Mushroom Fm to pursue other projects. This is a totally amicable parting and we wish him all the best for the future.
When the Mosen Explosion goes to air this week, it'll be the 26th in our official time zone of US Eastern. But in little old New Zealand, it will be bright and early on the 27th. And by an incredible co-incidence, the 27th of June is the wedding anniversary of two regular contributors to the show. Remarkable how these things happen, eh? Bonnie is celebrating a wedding anniversary, which no doubt she will talk about in her Bonnie bulletin, and so too am I. How cool is that?
Sadly, for health and other personal reasons, Jeremy feels unable to continue to produce Say it with Jazz at the moment.
Those of us who've been loyal fans of Say It With Jazz have immense admiration for Jeremy's meticulous research and extremely high standard of presentation.
We'll miss having him around, and hope that his circumstances will allow him to join us again in future. We're glad he intends being a regular listener to the 'Shroom, so we'll all be able to keep in touch. Thanks Jeremy for your great contribution.
The Snowman Radio airs Saturday evening, from 8 to 11 PM eastern time.
As the program has developed, it has split into two major segments; one that is more focused on talk, and the other focused on the music. But, the talk segment has been in the middle of the program, dividing two major music segments.
My friend Steve has been joining me in the middle hour.
For some time now, I have had concern about how to satisfy what I see as two distinct audience segments, the talkers who aren't into the music, and those who don't want to hear all that talk.
It’s less than an hour away!
11pm Eastern, or 4am Sunday in the UK, or 3Pm Sunday here in New Zealand.
I’ll be opening the doors once more, with a four hour journey of music, and plenty of listener interaction ahead.
The triple threat and live and loud segments are back, and of course requests are welcome.

Look forward to seeing ya!
Here in New Zealand, the nights they are cold. Many of our days are wet and windy. Yup, it's winter. On the other side of the world, Brian D is getting ready to hold his annual summer party! What a lucky dude. It helps him get over the football you see. And it was on 19 June 1936 that Tommy DeVito of The Four Seasons was born. Oh what a night!
Hey hey hey! It’s Saturday and that means Bonair, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST here on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. I’ll be filling two hours with some great tunes, including some from the newly knighted Rod Stewart, and of course taking your requests. “Food for Thought” returns with a tasty Thai chicken curry recipe, and there will be the usual Bonnie banter to keep you entertained. I love hearing from listeners, so if you would like to contact the show, email bonnieatmushroomfm.com or tweet @bonniemosen.
From 11pm Eastern tonight, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing.
That’s 4am Sunday in the UK and 3pm here in New Zealand.
For four hours I’ll be here and ready to party, and rock and party, like it’s 1999 all over again.
Why?
Well I’ve not been on the air for the last two weeks, what with one thing and another, so I’m here to make up for lost time.
The triple threat is back, and the Live and Loud segment also returns.
The rest of the show, is um, well up to you really.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow, doo doo doo, da doo, da deeeeee. And when the Mosen Explosion is on, tomorrow will indeed be only a day away with all its excitement and promise.
Apple will be revealing plenty of exciting new features on all its platforms, and we'll be covering that extensively with our awesome Tech Team show. Are you looking forward to the big reveal? What are you hoping for? We'll look forward to all your thoughts ahead of the big day.
