No Treasure Island Oldies this week

Michael Godin is taking a well-earned break this week, so we'll have a Mushroom FM request stop in the Treasure Island Oldies slots both today and Saturday.

On Mushroom Escape, more classic kids' songs and stories this week on Small World

On Mushroom Escape on Sunday starting at Midnight Eastern and repeated at 4, 8, 12, 4 and 8, I’m back with a fresh edition of Small World, the kids’ programme for the whole family. Can you simply not wait to hear what’s in store? Well since you’ve been very good this week, I’ll give you a few hints.

Did you know that if a tune is played badly enough, it might run away? Well it might, so we’ll tell you about a little tune that ran away and hear a wee song about some musicians.

Join me throughout Sunday on Mushroom Escape for Small World, the kids' programme for the whole family

Ready for another two hours of fun songs and stories? Whether you’re hearing them for the first time or the 100th time, I know you’ll be transported to some interesting places this week.

Hehehehe hee haw! Woody Woodpecker is having some fun with his animal crackers, and Shirley Temple has them in her soup! Yucky!

We have a story about a giant, told by a giant of folk music.

There are a couple of stories about hats this week, one about a silk hat, and another about a boy who has 500 hats. Imagine that! 500!

Sunday nights on Mushroom FM are a bit different now. Check it out

I know you check the Mushroom FM Schedule page every week, just to make sure you're up to speed with all the latest tasty Mushroom morsels. Yeah, right.

The reality is that we have a pretty stable ship here, which means you can depend on hearing your favourite show when you expect to. But we do have a few changes to tell you about, some of them temporary, some of them not, relating to Sunday nights.

Here's what's coming up on Small World, only on Mushroom Escape

Are you sitting comfortably? If not, then maybe you have ants in your pants or beans in your ears. Well, whether you’re comfortable or not, sitting or otherwise, it’s time for me to remind you that Small World, the Kids’ programme for the whole family, is coming up again on Mushroom Escape. There are two fun-filled hours and I can’t wait to bring it to you.

This week on Mosen At Large, the show prepares to go podcast-only, what’s the Apple Accessibility number for, employment matters and Scribe for Meetings.

Kia ora Mosen at Largers.

This weekend’s show is the last that will be aired in the live format on Mushroom FM, Clubhouse, YouTube and Facebook. After this next show, Mosen At Large will be available only as a podcast and I will be vacating the Saturday Mushroom FM slot. I’ll explain the reason for the change and look to plenty more good times ahead. So if you’re not equipped already, be sure to head on over to http://mosen.org and learn about all the ways you can hear the podcast.

Small World just got bigger!

We have had such an amazing response to our first two shows in this new series of Small World, that it sent all the important people into an important conference! And at the important conference, the important people had an important conversation. Then they made an important decision that having a kids’ programme for the whole family was so important, and that it was important that we listen when people are crying out for more, so it was considered important that Small World now run for not one hour, but two! Holy jumping jellyfish!

This weekend on Mosen At Large, working with financial data in PDFs, advocacy, disability pride and Cleanfeed

We have a lovely, eclectic mix of things to talk about this week with contributions from people in all four corners of the circular globe.

It's nearly time for another edition of Small World on Mushroom Escape. Here's what's on the show this week

Time goes by like it always does, and it’s nearly time for another edition of Small World, the kids’ programme for the whole family on Mushroom Escape.

On the show this week, many of the songs and stories have been chosen by our Small World listeners.

There’s a little fire engine who just wants to help, a tubby tuba that just wants to carry a tune, and be careful! Because we’ll also meet the baddest witch in all the world who just wants to eat children.
