This weekend on Mosen at Large, your tape recorder memories, plenty of Apple feedback, label things with WayAround and more

Kia ora Mosen at largers. We have some terrific contributions coming in from all four corners of our circular globe in what will be another informative and entertaining show this week. Here are some of the highlights on which you might like to send in a contribution yourself ahead of the show.

This weekend on Mosen At Large, new Apple shinies, more on the US elections, tech questions answered and more

Kia ora Mosen at Largers. As I write this wee message, it’s just one more sleep until the day arrives when the doorbell will ring and the courier will shove Apple’s latest shiny iPhone into my unwilling, apathetic hands. Yeah right.

Send in a contribution for this weekend's Mosen At large. Politics, Apples, Mantises and more

Kia ora Mosen at largers. The coming weekend’s episode of the show typifies why it’s called Mosen At Large. We cover such a wide range of things on this show, from technology to social issues to blindness matters to politics. Hopefully, it’s all presented in a way that makes you think and encourages you to participate.

Living in changing times. Clocks go back in the US this weekend

Mushroom FM keeps US Eastern time. On early Sunday morning, the US Eastern Time zone reverts to standard time as daylight saving ends.

For some listeners, particularly in the southern hemisphere, the start times of Mushroom Fm shows could change because the relationship between your time zone and Eastern US time will have changed. For example, in New Zealand and Australia, shows will start an hour later.

Have your say ahead of Mosen At Large. I read the news today, oh boy!

Kia ora Mosen at largers. We’ve received some great contributions ahead of this weekend’s show, but never fear, there is always room for yours. So what are you waiting for? Send me some audio, write me some email. If we didn’t hear from our immense listening family, well, the show would go boom.

If your clocks are going back this weekend, please read

It's that time of year again, when some of our listeners are falling back with the end of Daylight Saving. This applies to the UK, Ireland and some other countries.

Mushroom FM keeps US Eastern time, and the clocks there do not go back until next weekend. This means that for one week only, all Mushroom FM shows will be an hour earlier than you usually hear them. Remember, you can always check the Mushroom Fm schedule which will display show listings in your time zone.

Email or phone your contributions in for this weekend's Mosen At large. Could we be nearing the end of the guide dog era?

Kia ora Mosen at largers. One of the things I love about this show is the diversity of perspectives we hear from around the world. As always I have some ideas about what we might talk about, but you’re welcome to make a contribution on whatever’s on your mind.

I love hearing from you! Send in your contribution for this weekend's Mosen At Large

Kia ora Mosen at largers. I have another content-rich show planned for you this weekend and I’m looking forward to hearing from you if you have an opinion to express.

By the time the show airs live, New Zealand’s election will be over and I will have voted. I expect it to be another effortless, home-based telephonic experience as it was for Bonnie, who voted early, impetuous person that she is.

Celebrating John Lennon’s 80th birthday on Friday’s Mosen Explosion

I look forward to your company on Friday’s Mosen Explosion, where the entire show is devoted to celebrating the life, music and legacy of John Lennon on what would have been his 80th birthday.

I’ll be playing music from John as a Beatle and a solo artist, giving you some history about some of the music you’ll hear.

Here's what's coming up this weekend on Mosen At Large. Let's hear what you think

Kia ora Mosen at largers. I’m writing from just outside beautiful Queenstown in New Zealand, where Bonnie and I have been having a great break. Still, As always I can’t wait to spend some time talking with you about all manner of things on the next show. Perhaps because I’ve been taking a break, I’ve been thinking about a lot of things this week. Here are a few things I’d be interested in hearing from you about.
