Thanks for being a part of another amazing virtual party experience when we counted down the top 100 holiday songs that you voted for.

If you couldn't catch some or all of the fun, we are going to replay the countdown in full on Christmas day between 2 AM and noon Eastern time. We do this so that if the countdown was on at a difficult time zone for you when it aired live, hopefully this replay time will suit you better.

On Sunday 19 December at 9 AM North American Eastern time, 2 PM in the UK, Mushroom FM begins 10 hours of live, interactive programming as we throw our annual and much looked forward to Christmas party. No matter where in the world you are, when you visit the Mushroom FM schedule page, you'll see the schedule displayed in your own time zone, making it easy for you to know when to tune in.

Voting is closing at 11:59 PM Eastern time tonight for our holiday countdown. Every year, we get frantic messages from a listener or two who forgot to vote and really really really wants to. Unfortunately, we can't make exceptions. Once the votes are closed, they are closed. The reason for this is that once listeners have built the chart, work begins immediately on putting the countdown together, so it's ready to go live at 9 AM Eastern this Sunday.

There’s not long left! You have until the end of Friday US Eastern time to vote for your top 10 Christmas songs. The consequences of voting are enormous. You contribute to our top 100 countdown which we play this Sunday, and you also score yourself an invitation to our Christmas party.

This year, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of this tradition that many people now look forward to. Our aim is that for you, participation is easy, festive and fun. But there's a lot going on behind the scenes.

From a listener’s perspective, you may think that this show would be an easy one for the fun guys to prepare for. After all, the listeners are in charge of what songs make the chart, so that’s the music taken care of, right? Well, it’s not quite that simple.

There’s still time to vote in Mushroom FM’s holiday countdown and to receive an invitation to our Christmas party. But time is running out rapidly with votes closing at the end of Friday 17 December Eastern North American time.

Being able to tune in to hear how the 10 songs you voted for ranked in the countdown, or indeed whether they made it to the countdown at all since we have around 250 songs people have voted for at this point, is a lot of fun. But we add even more to the fun by turning the countdown in to another of Mushroom FM’s famous social media events.

People's preferences change from year to year so we never know what the countdown is going to sound like, and after another unusual and difficult year, we sure could use a little levity and companionship.
