From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 6pm Saturday in NZ, 4pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies Beaches from 1988 and Murder in the First from 1995.
Beaches (also known as Forever Friends) is a 1988 American comedy-drama film adapted by Mary Agnes Donoghue and based on Iris Rainer Dart's 1985 novel of the same name.
It was directed by Garry Marshall, and stars Bette Midler, Barbara Hershey, Mayim Bialik, John Heard, James Read, Spalding Gray, and Lainie Kazan.

This week Deep Dive returns to normal service after the Australian summer holiday, and we feature the Australian doo-wop sounds of Ol' 55. We sing about summertime and go looking for an echo.

Tune in at 4 PM Eastern on Monday, which is 8 AM Tuesday in eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 10 PM in eastern Australia.

Deep dive, focusing on one artist for one hour.

Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you about this week's edition of Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's Folk and Celtic Music show. Every once in a while, I like to program mini-themes, which are groups of songs that are somehow related. This week, I've got songs about highways and highwaymen, hills, roads, flying and much more! We'll hear a Leonard Cohen classic, move the "Me Music" feature back to where it used to be in the first hour of the show, and generally have a great time.

From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 6pm Saturday in NZ, 4pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies The Fugitive from 1993 and Hanna from 2011.

Still going strong after well over 20 years on the jolly old Interweb, the Mosen Explosion is back for another year with a face lift. Now all I need is to get a face lift of my own!

This year, the Mosen Explosion comes packed with fun, including more whimsical and whacky news stories, things that make you go “hmm”, and a new daily feature, the brain exploder. Here’s how it works.

We have had a fantastic response to Mushroom FM's new Alexa skill and Google action. Now we are delighted to announce that Mushroom Escape is available with a skill and action of its own.

I was saddened to learn of the death of Meatloaf last week at the age of 74. His voice range and power were amazing, and his Bat Out Of Hell album was outstanding. Deep Dive will feature the programme on him made last week as a tribute, as a last encore programme before the Australian holidays end for me.

Tune in at 4 PM Monday Eastern, which is 8 AM in eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 10 PM in eastern Australia.

Deep dive, where we focus on one artist for one hour, on mushroom FM, home of the fun guys.

Not only have we vastly expanded our music library from our four decades of magic Mushroom memories, not only are we rocking a new Alexa skill and Google action, but we're now giving you a chance to hear Gary G every week day. Join Gary direct from South Africa at 3 AM and again at 3 Pm Eastern for A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That. It's a pleasant miandar through the four decades that we play with a bit of fun conversation and humour thrown in for good measure.

The Mosen Explosion was set to return on Monday with an invigorated format packed with new features. But that has been postponed by a day as we take the hour to pay tribute to meat Loaf, whose death was recently announced.

Flamboyant, larger than life, a member of a great rock partnership and singer of one of the biggest selling albums of all time, Meat Loaf was part of the soundtrack of a generation.

Yes, it's almost that time of January again, time to dust off the kilts and dig into the Haggis and celebrate the man whose poetry and song have made Scotland famous the world over. Yes, it's Robby Burns Day on January 25, so we're doing our usual celebrations this week on Come by the Hills. Known as the peasant poet, Robert Burns wrote poetry about love, nature, politics and many other aspects of Scottish life as he knew it.
