On Mushroom Escape, the final episode in this series of Small World is all about Christmas

It’s Jonathan Mosen here to tell you about the wonderful songs and stories we have for you this week on the final episode in this series of Small World, the kids’ programme for the whole family, only on Mushroom Escape.

We hear the story of a most magical snowman. Father Christmas works very hard all year long to get all the presents ready and this week we let you into a few of Santa’s secrets. Do you know all of Santa’s reindeer by name? See if you can call them all when we read ‘twas the night before Christmas. When a church organ broke right before the busy season, what could have been a disaster gave us one of the most well-known Christmas carols. And speaking of Christmas carols, this series concludes with the famous Charles Dickens story.

It has been a privilege to have had the opportunity to revive a New Zealand radio institution. Thanks to Don Linden for entrusting me with it, and to Bruce at Mushroom Escape for the airtime. I may do another series sometime, so stay tuned.
