The Mosen Explosion takes Wings

Finally we’ve got to short sleeve weather in glorious Wellington. The days are getting warmer and longer, and everything’s feeling marvellous. And I’m looking forward to bringing you a decidedly summery Mosen Explosion. Yet another reminder that this week, due to Europe ending daylight saving time while the US is still on it, it will be on at 6 PM in the UK just for this week, still 2 PM Eastern, and 7 AM in New Zealand.

On the show this week, as Sir Paul McCartney famously sang, “Denny Laine is in my ears, and in my eyes”. It’s Denny Lane’s birthday, and he’s blowing out 73 candles. He was with the Moody Blues for a bit in their early years, but he’s probably most famous for his time with Wings. So Wings are our featured group this week. How cool is this?
