Coming up on Saturday at the Described Movies: Fort Apache and In the Heat of the Night.

From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 6pm Saturday in NZ, 4pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies Fort Apache from 1948 and In the Heat of the Night from 1967.
Fort Apache is a 1948 American Western film directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne and Henry Fonda.
The film was the first of the director's "cavalry trilogy" and was followed by She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949) and Rio Grande (1950), both also starring Wayne.

Deep Dive encores

Deep dive is playing two more on encore shows before we return to live programming. This week we will feature the incredible talents of American singer Linda Ronstadt. This show was played in 2021.

Tune in at 4 PM Eastern on Monday, which is 8 AM Tuesday in eastern Australia. Alternatively at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 10 PM in eastern Australia.

He's a great champion of the wild places of Canad and the world, he's won numerous awards and honours, and his passion for this country comes through in every song he sings.

The Outlaw Josey Wales is a 1976 American Revisionist Western film set during and after the American Civil War.
It was directed by and starred Clint Eastwood (as the eponymous Josey Wales), with Chief Dan George, Sondra Locke, Sam Bottoms, and Geraldine Keams.
