Here in Australia, the weather is still hot, with thunderstorms and all the other signs of summer. And, due to the special repeat of our Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young programme last week, we still have one encore programme left in our summer series which will play next week.
It's our Deep Dive birthday edition from last May, where Chief Fun Guy Jonathan Mosen joins the programme and chooses his favourite Beatles songs, and what great choices he makes.

G'day everyone.
After a good long rest over the summer break, I'm really looking forward to being back with you live on Mushroom FM. This week in Australia, we celebrate Australia Day, so in honour of that, this week's show features all Australian artists. There's also a tasty new breakfast recipe that I've been trying this week, and I have lots to tell you about from our recent camping trip, including some new gadgets I was given over the break.

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
In the fall of 1949, Down Beat Records owner Jack Lauderdale had a problem. DownBeat Magazine was threatening to sue him over the use of the name. Unsure of a new name, Lauderdale decided to use Swing as a placeholder along with Swing Beat Records before finally settling on Swing Time Records in March of 1950.
Deep Dive has been playing encore shows since last year during summer, but we are back a week early to celebrate the life of David Crosby who died last week.
Talented singer and composer, and member of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, we will share his music with you in the programme this week. Our programme on the Beatles, featuring chief Fun Guy Jonathan Mosen, will move back to the week of 30 January.

For 24 years I’ve been ... come on, you thought I was going to say “living next door to Alice”, right? But no! For 24 years I’ve been beamed to all four corners of our circular globe via this Internet radio thing.
Well, all good things come to an end, and so does your break from the Mosen Explosion which returns for yet another year.
