You can't accuse us of not being environmentally friendly here at Mushroom Fm, and to prove it, I've decided to try recycling. This week, we're revisiting an episode of Come by the Hills from June 17th of this year. It has all the usual features and of course a lot of great music. I'll be back next week with a brand new episode, but for now, I hope you enjoy this trip into the recent past.

On August 21, 2016, Mushroom Fm's Premier Celtic Music show, known colloquially as come by the Hills, premiered! It was a momentous day indeed, filled with great celtic music and so-so banter by yours truly. Well, tonight's show is as close as we can come to that anneversary, so we're going to have fun reflecting on the past two years and playing the best in Celtic music from around the world.
Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from the 50s and 60s with an occasional nod to other decades, including music from before the rock era which is generally accepted as starting in 1955.

What does it mean, to have your own radio show? For me, it is the high point of my week.
I, the Snowman, am a retired engineer, now living the good life, a life of mostly leisure and freedom, to pursue what interests me. While still working, I did other things in life, in order to make a more lucrative living. But, radio broadcasting has always been my passion.
So, the oppertunity to broadcast on MushroomFM is a real privilege for me.
We'll be having some more new music (new to the show at least) this week on Mushroom Fm's Premier Celtic Music Show, but we'll also have our usual features: Me Music, Fiddlin' Around and Celtic Covers. It'll be a great show! Catch it tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern, right after Steve Cutway and The Early Years, or if you miss it, catch the replay on Friday morning after Jonathan Mosen and The Daily Fibre. Also, you can find the archive of the show at: http://www.mushroomfm.com/sarahillis. Enjoy!

There’s no new Mosen Explosion show this weekend. Aw. But in its long history, there are many many episodes in the old back catalogue. So this week, we’ll be taking you back to a Mosen Explosion from this week in August 1927. Oops, the computer is having a problem computing that, so how about we just go back to this week in 2014?
Find out the things we were talking about and the music we were playing four years ago.
It’s all on the jolly old Mosen Explosion, 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, only on the mighty Mushroom FM.
