Join the Tech Team on Mushroom FM for a live Apple Event Call-in show

Next week, we have something special for you on Mushroom FM. We're giving you plenty of notice, so you can tell Siri to put it in your calendar.

Please join me, Jonathan Mosen, and the Tech Team for an Apple event special call-in show.

At 1 PM Eastern next Wednesday, 9 September, Apple will be revealing its latest iPhones. It's also expected we'll see a radically revamped Apple TV, and maybe even a larger iPad. Plus, there'll be more details about iOS 9, ahead of the release of the gold master to developers.

Bonair Makes Her Second Start Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. EST

In my favourite sport of horseracing, when a horse breaks its maiden, it means it has won its first race—no matter how many races it has run. Well, last week, Bonair broke its maiden with a winning show and having come back sound after that start is ready to rock the airwaves this Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on and in all your favourite music apps.

Paskell's Pop Vault; About to be Opened for the First Time!

Hi Everyone. I'm writing to invite you to enter my Pop Vault for the very first time here on Mushroom FM from 7 PM Eastern, Midnight UK Time, straight after Axel's Rocked the Mushroom.

Our first delve will last an hour and contain several recent discoveries including new music from two of my favourite active bands. We'll begin with a friendly boogie and later play a James Bond theme plus two very different versions of a song by Radiohead. I'll also be seeking your suggestions for party tunes you love to hear, especially while celebrating at weddings.

Beatle Beat Returns. Monday, 1 PM Eastern, 6 PM UK.

In the olden days of Internet radio, I hosted a popular show called Beatle Beat, where we looked at the latest Beatle news, looked back at this week in Beatles history, played some very rare performances and documentaries, and most of all, played plenty of popular music by the fab four together and separately.

It's almost time to open up the Shed

Yes you read it correctly, the Shed is about to open for yet another week.
Four hours of music, and of course your requests.
What will this week’s triple threat be?
Who will feature in this week’s live and loud segment?
Tune in at the top of the hour, that’s 11 pm Eastern, 4 AM UK time, and 3 PM NZ time, and all will be revealed.
To contact the show you can e-mail me: anthony at mushroomfm dot com
Or you can find me on Twitter: @kiwisnake
Will look forward to seeing you all in the shed.

The Mosen Explosion, four hours of fun to sink your teeth into

Barring any teething troubles, we're back again with another Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM. Why the management allows this, I really do not understand. Nevertheless, we have four hours to fill, and if I brush up on my technical skills, I just feel we're gonna manage to send all those bytes through the Ether.

I've been doing the wacky news segment on the show for a very long time, at least 15 years. Yet I think this week is the first time there's been a wacky news story involving blind people, and it is so wacky that I hope I can read it without dissolving into hysterics.

Bonair Maiden Flight 9:00 p.m. EST Tuesday

Welcome aboard Bonair flight 9211—Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on or in all your favourite players. It is our maiden flight, and since I am getting my feet wet with this thing called radio our theme will be water. Any kind—river, rain, puddle, ocean, tears, anything that is wet. It can be in the artist, song, title, or somewhere in the lyrics.

You're invited to the Mosen Explosion welcome home party

We're in celebration mode at Mosen Towers, and Bonnie even woke up at stupid o'clock to make me a huuuuuuuge mushroom omelette. But I'm taking time out from the celebrations to send you a personal invitation to the Mosen Explosion welcome home party on Mushroom FM.

We're back home, at the same old time, 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, right after Down for Double with Brian and Lulu.

It's almost time to open up the Shed!

Anthony Horvath is back on Mushroom FM and he is looking forward to seeing you in the shed!
That’s right, this random dude from New Zealand is back, and starting from this Saturday, 11 PM Eastern, that’s 4 AM Sunday in the UK, or 3 PM Sunday afternoon here in New Zealand.
It’ll be four fun filled hours of great music and of course, your requests are welcome.
Let’s not forget about the two special features you can hear each week.
The Triple Threat; where we play three songs back-to-back-to-back from a particular artist or group.

Have you completed your Mushroom FM listener's tests yet?

Over the last few weeks, the fun guys have been working diligently, doing all the things one needs to do when launching, or in our case relaunching, an Internet radio station.

We're really looking forward to the building phase being complete, and the broadcasting phase getting underway, which is what it's all about. We hope you'll tune in for Brian Hartgen's show when we relaunch this Saturday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK. And since we're all radio buffs, maybe there'll be something a bit exciting leading up to the launch.
