Join me this Sunday evening at 8:00 PM Eastern for Come By The Hills: the Celtic Music Show, when we'll salute the fact that it's now September, the time when summer ends and the harvest begins in the Northern Hemisphere. Indeed, there was a time when the September Equinox would have marked the middle of Autumn rather than its outset. So, we'll be remembering the summer that is past and hoping for a plentiful harvest to come, with songs about the cycles of nature and about summer-related activities.

Please find below a statement from the artist formally known as John Glass.
"It's been a while!!
Nearly 3 years to be exact.
Many said it would never happen.
Many indeed said it shouldn't have been allowed to go on for so long, in the first place.
Many most likely even prayed it could never happen again
But the dreaded day is almost upon you.
Wheels have been put into motion which will lead to a chain of events.
Events that simply cannot now be stopped.

Thanks to everyone who has made the choice to listen to Mushroom FM more often and for longer since we became your station for four decades of magic mushroom memories.
We're always looking for new ways to explore the diversity of riches offered by the decades we focus on. We're delighted to welcome someone who will bring us the music that started it all.
Here's how Matt the Cat describes his show, Juke in the Back.

Hi
I would love it if you could join me each weekday at 6 pm Eastern, that's 11 pm in the UK for two hours where we get to play some of the best music that was ever made from the 1970's and 1980's.
Along with the choice cuts of tunes we've got our great range of birthdays and anniversaries all designed to help you remember those great days when the music lived.
As usual we've got our two featured albums with both of them seeing the first steps in a change in direction for the groups - was it a good thing - you can decide for yourself.
Starting today, from Monday to Friday at 4:00 PM Eastern, tune in to The Sara Hillis Show: the Show Where Anything Goes. Yes, just before Steve Cutway gets you lost in the fifties, I'll be presenting an eclectic mix of magic mushroom memories for your enjoyment.

Over the last nearly 50 years, music has been rocked by some truly memorable LIVE festivals, including Live Eight, Live Aid, and that grand daddy of them all, Woodstock.
And there's yet another special festival people still talk about in hushed, nostalgic tones. The one where, for two consecutive years, Mushroom FM used the power of the Internet to have listeners virtually get together at Fungus Field for a music festival that did the impossible not once, but twice.

Tune in from 11pm eastern tonight and find out.
It’ll be four crazy hours, from 4am Sunday in the UK and 3Pm here in good old New Zealand.
The triple threat is back, and yet another Live and loud segment.
As usual the music selection will be all over the place, as I play whatever pops into my head.
Of course, if you want to stop me from playing whatever I want, simply send me a request.

There are certain truths in life. Death, taxes, and no one does special events quite like Mushroom Fm.

It’s a back to school Bonair this Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. As students and teachers in the Northern hemisphere head back to the classroom, we will salute them with some great, and not so great, tunes about school, education, and anything else to get you in the mood for learning. We will share memories, good and bad, about teachers and classmates. In “Food for Thought” we will talk about healthy lunches, the lunchbox, and the nightmare of cafeteria cuisine.
If you're longing to rove or are filled with wanderlust, you won't want to miss this week's edition of Come by the Hills: the Celtic Music Show with Sara Hillis. We'll be playing all kinds of songs about journeying and pilgrimage, along with a couple of listener requests and of course our usual features.
We'll hear from a wide range of artists, all with that unique Celtic sound, including: Mary Black, Planxty, Enya, Eric Bogle, The Irish Rovers and many more! There'll even be some Celtic Gregorian Chant!
