Hi everyone.
After an unscheduled break of a couple of months, for reasons which I won't bother to trouble you with here, Damo's All Day Breakfast returns this friday from 4 PM Eastern, and this week, I catch up with Graeme, owner and skipper of the Good Ship Notorious, wich is a replica of a 15th century Caravell sailing ship, of the type used by many well known explorers of that period. Graeme not only owns and captains the ship, he built it as well, so it really was interesting to talk to him.

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The Drifters would become the most successful vocal group in history, charting hit after hit for over 20 years, with no less than a dozen different lead singers. This week, the "Juke In The Back" spotlights The Drifters' first chapter with the great high tenor of Clyde McPhatter out front.
This week on Deep Dive we experience the outstanding and long-standing talents of Australian singer Kylie Minogue. We explode a time-bomb, learn that it's never too late, and and learn that it's in your eyes.
Hello hello! It will soon be time for another episode of Come by the Hills! This week, it's another three hours of fabulous folky fun with lots of interesting songs for the listening! WE have far away songs, farewell songs, songs about golds, songs about Willies and willows, and whatever you might want to hear as well! So why not come along and see what all the fun is about?

Tommy Brown is one of the unsung blues shouters of the Rhythm & Blues Era. His only two charting records were done with the Griffin Brothers on Dot Records in 1951. He'll always be remembered for the #1 smash, "Weepin' & Cryin'," but Brown had so many tremendous records under his own name that Matt The Cat just had to feature an entire "Juke In The Back" program on Tommy Brown.

On 10 July 1964, Parlophone released the Beatles’ third studio album, “A Hard Day’s Night”. The album contained songs from the blockbuster movie of the same name. It was the first album to feature all original Beatles material.
The Beatles released an album with the same title but with a different track listening a couple of weeks earlier in the United States.
This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the musical talents of Australian band Men At work. We come from a land down under, climb snakes and ladders, and meet be good Johnie.
Tune in at 4 PM eastern Monday, which is 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Wednesday Eastern, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Just ask that very co-operative SmartSpeaker of yours to play Mushroom FM and it will whisk you there quicker than you can eat a Vegemite sandwich. And here in Australia we love a vegemite sandwich.
