From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 5pm Saturday in NZ, 3pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies Top Hat from 1935, A Family Affair from 1937, and Helltown from 1937.
Top Hat is a 1935 American musical screwball comedy film in which Fred Astaire plays an American tap dancer named Jerry Travers, who comes to London to star in a show produced by Horace Hardwick ( Edward Everett Horton).

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
Matt The Cat takes a look at another Black-owned, independent, LA-based record label that contributed greatly to the birth of Rock n' Roll and the popularity of R&B Vocal Groups during the 1950s.

Thank you to everyone who was able to tune in to The Song Remembers When last Sunday! I appreciate hearing from you; creating this show is super fun for me, but it is truly all about the listeners. I want to help put smiles on faces and bring back memories. I love the interactions I receive. Please keep them coming my way! Incidentally, if you missed the show the first time, it will be replayed this Thursday from 5-7 am Eastern. I believe this is slightly better timing for many of you in other parts of the world! The theme for this week's show is music from movies.

This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the broad but sadly short-lived talents of Bobby Darin. We hear a splish splash, meet the queen of the hop, and meet up with Mac the knife.

Tune in on Monday at 4 PM Eastern, 7 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Wednesday, which is 9 PM in Eastern Australia. Just have a chat to that SmartSpeaker of yours and tell it to play Mushroom FM and you will be there in the wink of an eye.

Deep Dive, where we focus on one artist for one hour, heard exclusively on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys.

My name is Melissa Riccobono, and I am thrilled to be the newest "fun guy" on Mushroom FM! I will be hosting a show called The Song Remembers When on Sunday's from 4-6 pm eastern. The Song Remembers When will feature a new theme each week. I will, of course, play music which fits into the theme, but I will also share the memories each song elicits for me, and, I hope, the memories the music brings to you, the listener. Music has the power to bring back memories, thoughts of special people, different experiences, etc. in ways nothing else can.

And after you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, where anything folkish goes this week, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me for The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's first quarter-century with nods to other decades and genres.
If you're in the UK or Europe, it's time for you to spring forward Sunday morning at 1 A.M.

Yes, Come by the Hills comes your way again this week and it's a "whatever Sara feels like playing" kind of episode. Of course, you too can contribute to the musical mayhem by requesting something of a Folkish flavour when the show is live on Saturday, or you're always free to just sit back and let me do the driving, as it were. Either way, it's sure to be three hours of truly amazing music.

So, catch Come by the Hills live and in person on Saturday at 2:00 PM Eastern, or check out the replay on Tuesday at 5:00 AM Eastern. However and whenever you listen, enjoy!
