It is that time of year again when it is our duty to report more breaks in the fabric of the space/time continuum.

Mushroom FM keeps US Eastern time as its official time zone. Early on Sunday morning, the clocks will go back an hour.

If your clocks go back this weekend too, then everything will be at the same time as always.

If you're in Europe and the UK and your clocks went back last weekend, shows will once again be starting at the same time that you're used to.

Yes, the folkish favourites are back again for another week. We've got three hours of great music from Stan Rogers, Loreena McKennitt, Steeleye Span and more, as well as our usual features: "Me Music," "Fiddlin' Around" and "Celtic Covers." We're also testing out a new bit of software for the first time on this show, so it should be quite a fun time. Therefore, (we mustn't start a sentence with "so," must we?) if you're game, come along with me and we'll experiment and experience awesome Celtic music together.

When Jonathan says "goodbye" for another week at 6 PM Eastern on Sunday, don't touch that device and stay tuned for The Early Years on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys. Enjoy a wide variety of music from the 50s and 60s including the pre-rock era from 1951-55.
I have a couple of version comparisons that I think you'll find interesting, particularly their chart action (or not) in North America and the UK. You may be surprised.

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

Please to remember the third of november? No, wait. That's not right, but as the fifth of November is on Sunday, I thought we'd celebrate that most British of holidays with a few British novelty songs on the Friday Fun version of The Sara Hillis Show. But don't worry. No effogies will be burned in the production of this episode. We may also talk about the gun powder plot itself as well. Was Fawkes just a fall guy? Who knows? All I do know is that I hope you'll join me tomorrow at noon or midnight Eastern time for the Fawkesy Friday Fun edition of The Sara Hillis Show!

First, just to advised that as foreshadowed on last week’s edition of A Cuppa at the Mosens, there is no show this week as I’ll be busy producing the much anticipated and highly epic iPhone X unboxing and set-up podcast for The Blind Side.

I do, however, have a Smorgasbord for you, our daily fusion of the latest tech news and the greatest musical memories.

Reviewers have their hands on the iPhone X, we summarise some of the things they’re saying, as well as tell you about something audibly exclusive that tells the world you have one of these new babies.

Join me, Jonathan Mosen, at 3 AM and PM Eastern time, for this week that’s 7 AM and PM in the UK, as I bring you the smorgasbord. There’s no other show quite like it, combining the cutting edge of tech news with some of the best retro music ever. Something old, something new.

On the show for Wednesday, the boffins at Apple have been very busy little beavers, with software updates aplenty, I’ll fill you in.

Microsoft’s Surface Pro is getting a feature which, once you have it and use it, I guarantee you’ll never want to be without.

After only hours of recovery time from the Mosen Explosion, I’m back on Mushroom FM with my regular week-day show, the Smorgasbord. It’s where we serve up a healthy dose of the latest in tech news and commentary, throw in some great conversation and some of the best music ever made.

On Monday’s show, the aftermath of the iPhone pre-order frenzy. I’ll talk wireless chargers, what’s coming up in iOS 11.1 and WatchOS 4.1, and WhatsApp has just introduced one of its most requested features.

Well, I'm ready to spin some great music from the 50s and 60s on The Early Years. I have a quadruple play of four of my favourite Fats Domino songs, a 60s twin spin, a 50s flip, a couple of Halloween items, lots of chart information, memories and reminiscences about and inspired by the music.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.

Finally we’ve got to short sleeve weather in glorious Wellington. The days are getting warmer and longer, and everything’s feeling marvellous. And I’m looking forward to bringing you a decidedly summery Mosen Explosion. Yet another reminder that this week, due to Europe ending daylight saving time while the US is still on it, it will be on at 6 PM in the UK just for this week, still 2 PM Eastern, and 7 AM in New Zealand.
