This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the beautiful voice and songwriting talents of Peter Cetera. We hear about the next time I fall, learn that it's hard to say I'm sorry and ask have you ever been in love.
To enjoy Deep Dive, tune in at 4 PM Monday Eastern, which is 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Simply ask your SmartThing to take you to Mushroom FM and I'll but there.
Yes, you heard it right. After a couple of reboots, a fire alarm in our apartment building, and some other jiggery-pokery, I have managed to get the computer to behave as I want it to, so we're live after all! Join me at 8:00 PM Eastern for all the Canada Day fun, or catch the replay on Friday at 4:00 AM Eastern. The archive link still applies at: http://www.mushroomfm.com/sarahillis. However and whenever you listen, enjoy! I know I will!
Hello there! Sara Hillis here to tell you that instead of the brand spanking new Canada Day episode I had planned for today’s show, we’ll be dipping into the archives with last year’s version. There is a long and stress-laden story behind this decision involving a rather ill-conceived plan to back up my files to Dropbox and the consequences of that plan, so rather than risk the computer shutting down in the middle of the show, I thought the encore presentation would be the way to go. If I can fix everything I broke by next week, I’ll be back with you live as usual.
The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
Time goes by like it always does, and it’s nearly time for another edition of Small World, the kids’ programme for the whole family on Mushroom Escape.
On the show this week, many of the songs and stories have been chosen by our Small World listeners.
There’s a little fire engine who just wants to help, a tubby tuba that just wants to carry a tune, and be careful! Because we’ll also meet the baddest witch in all the world who just wants to eat children.
Affter you've enjoyed Mosen At Large, Mushroom FM's premier opinion show, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your questions get answered and all your opinions get heard, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
This week has been a little cold in my part of the world, so I thought it'd be a good opportunity to try experimenting with cooking pea and ham soup n the pressure cooker.
As it turned out, this was the easiest pea and ham soup I've ever made, so I thought I'd share it with you this week on the show.
there's lots of other things I'd like to talk with you about, including a tandem bike update, a new Braille gadget I'm playing with, a story about portable boats that inspired me, and then of course there's string.
From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 4pm Saturday in NZ, 2pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s
