There’s still time to vote in Mushroom FM’s holiday countdown and to receive an invitation to our Christmas party. But time is running out rapidly with votes closing this Thursday at 11:59 PM North American Eastern Time.
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, this afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
My gum is grafted and I feel fine, to borrow a phrase from a group we all know and love; so I'll be back with three new shows followed by the two surprises I've mentioned in past shows. What they are will be unveiled on this week's show.
Well hello! On this decidedly balmy December day here in my neck of the Canadian woods, I'm here to tell you what's happening this week on Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's Folk and Celtic music show!

Ignore my post from yesterday friends. My unanticipated health issue was resolved by a very competent young doctor at 06:00 PM last night so I will be with you in half an hour after all.
I'll pick up the Sirius XM Radio top 600 songs of the 60s at #546 and continue to #516.

Hello! Here I am again with another Folkish feast for you on Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's Folk and Celtic music show! This week, I've got songs about trains, songs about winter, songs about snow and songs about rain, and of course a few holiday tunes to spice things up with the musical equivalent of ginger, cloves and nutmeg. I hope you can join me!
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with nods to other decades and genres.
You know what John Lennon said, "life is what happens while you're busy making other plans".
