This week on Deep Dive we reach back into the archives in Covid times to hear the amazing sounds of UK rock band Pink Floyd. We hear about money, wish you were here, and go to the great gig in the sky. It's like going to the dark side of the moon.

Greetings and salutations! It's Sara Hillis here to let you know what's coming up on this week's very special episode of Come by the Hills, the Folk and Celtic music show on Mushroom FM. This weekend, I am privileged to welcome two of my friends who themselves have connected as friends because of the show. Rebecca and Michelle will be here--live and in person even!--and we'll be chatting and hopefully playing some actual music as well.

I’m going to enjoy playing this terrific selection of music to you and I hope you enjoy it just as much.

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The "Juke In The Back" features another highly underrated R&B vocal group from the 1950s: The Checkers. They never scored a national hit, but they're one of the finest examples of polished 1950s R&B and their story deserves to be shared.
This week, November 9, on snowwhiteFM, we will revisit probably the coolest program we ever produced as a part of this series of broadcasts. Jump in the car with the Snowman, and let him take you zooming down the highway, diggin' the tunes on the radio and checking out the scenery. The snowman will be here live as well, with all the usual features. but, this trip down the highway, with The snowman driving, is a show you just have to hear to believe. It's so realistic, you'll actually feel like you are there! Dont' miss it. 7pm eastern saturday evening, on MushroomFM.com
