Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades including music from before the rock era.
Several listeners have suggested show ideas. This week, I'm continuing one suggested by a friend of more than 50 years and a loyal listener - songs recorded by related people together or separately. There are a surprisingly large number of songs and they'll span the decades from the 1930s to the 1970s.

During the run of The Early Years, several listeners have suggested show ideas. For at least the next two shows, I'm featuring one suggested by a friend of more than 50 years and a loyal listener. It's songs recorded by related people together or separately. There are a surprisingly large number of songs and they'll span the decades from the 1940s to the 1980s.

It's an encore edition of The Early Years from a year ago this week because of audio issues with that new, shiny Windows 10 computer I've talked about on the show.
I have a couple of version comparisons that I think you'll find interesting, particularly their chart action (or not) in North America and the UK. You may be surprised.
