Movie 1: The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) is a supernatural horror film based on the investigations of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The story begins in 1981, when the Warrens attempt to help a young boy named David Glatzel, who appears to be possessed by a demonic presence. During an exorcism, David's sister's boyfriend, Arne Johnson, challenges the demon to leave the boy and enter him instead.
Several months later, Arne is accused of murder after killing his landlord. His defence makes an extraordinary claim: that he committed the crime while under demonic possession. Ed and Lorraine Warren investigate the case, searching for evidence that might support Arne's claim and uncovering a sinister connection to a satanic curse.
As the Warrens follow the trail, they discover that the case involves more than a single haunting. Their investigation leads them towards a mysterious occultist whose actions have placed several lives in danger. Ed and Lorraine must race against time to understand the source of the curse and stop it before more people are harmed.
Directed by Michael Chaves, the film is the third main instalment in The Conjuring film series. Starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, it combines supernatural horror, investigative suspense, and the emotional relationship between the two paranormal investigators.

The Omen (1976) is a supernatural horror film about an American diplomat who discovers that his adopted son may be connected to an ancient prophecy concerning the Antichrist. The story begins when Robert Thorn and his wife, Katherine, experience the devastating loss of their newborn child. At the hospital, Robert is persuaded to adopt an orphaned baby without telling Katherine the truth about the circumstances of the child's birth.
The couple name the boy Damien and raise him as their own. However, as Damien grows older, a series of disturbing and apparently inexplicable events begins to unfold around him. Strange deaths, mysterious warnings, and frightening incidents lead Robert to question whether his son is truly an ordinary child.
As Robert investigates Damien's origins, he encounters a priest who warns him that the boy may be the Antichrist, destined to bring about great evil. With the help of a photographer who has discovered unsettling signs in his photographs, Robert attempts to uncover the truth and determine whether Damien poses a threat to humanity.
Directed by Richard Donner, The Omen became one of the most influential horror films of the 1970s. Gregory Peck and Lee Remick star as the troubled parents, while Harvey Stephens plays Damien. The film is renowned for its ominous atmosphere, chilling imagery, and memorable musical score by Jerry Goldsmith, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Score.
