It's an early birthday celebration this week on The Early Years!
After you've enjoyed The Variety Vault, Mushroom FM's newest show with Paul Merrell, tomorrow afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
In its more than nine years on Mushroom FM, The Early Years and I have been blessed with a significant number of regular and loyal listeners, not just from the blind community but many of my university and radio friends as well. One such friend is John, whom I met my first or second day at Queen's and we've been friends ever since. Sunday will be his birthday so this week's show is an early celebration of another year of living. I will play songs he and I selected, including the #1 songs on the day he was born, his 10th and 20th birthdays.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories with an early birthday celebration, after The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for The Mosen explosion. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before The Mosen explosion, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
