We're Springing Forward, this Week on Come by the Hills!

Hello again! Sara Hillis here to tell you about this week's episode of Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's Folk and Celtic music show! Since much of North America is springing forward this weekend into Daylight Saving Time, I thought we'd play some songs about time and some songs about spring this week. It may be snowy and windy outside my window today, but I know that some more springlike temperatures are in the offing for the week ahead. So, even though it isn't officially spring yet, I've decided to celebrate it anyway.

A decade on, join Bonnie and me for a special anniversary Mosen Explosion

It was 10 years ago, on 4 March 2012, that a Mushroom FM listener named Bonnie Lannom co-hosted the Mosen Explosion I was doing live from Boston, where I was visiting for work. We often wonder how different our lives would have been if she had been doing something else that day, or I had decided to do the show solo. Few couples of fortunate enough to have such a detailed recording of their first proper conversation, but we still have that show, and listen to it occasionally.
