When you hear the dying strains of Van Halen's Happy Trails signalling the end of The Mosen Explosion for another week, don't touch your PC, your mobile device or your internet radio and join me in The Early Years on Mushroom FM.
Hello, I'm Steve Cutway inviting you to enjoy two hours of the best music from the 50s and 60s. I have another same title different song pair, a 50s flip, lots of chart information and reminiscences.
Yes, I'm back yet again this Sunday with another three hours of the best in Celtic music from around the world. There's no particular theme this week. There's just awesome music as usual.

The Mosen Explosion is on again for another four forgettable hours. But one thing I don’t want you to forget, if you’re in the UK and Europe where the clocks go forward this weekend, it means that the show is now back to its usual start time, so that’s 7 PM once again in the UK.
This week, we’ve got plenty of fun conversation, which you can participate in via Twitter, email or the listener line. Remember that you can also send in your audio contributions via email.

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The “Juke is jumpin’ this week as we take a look at the history and influence of the Champion Jack Dupree classic, “Junker’s Blues.” He learned the tune from New Orleans boogie woogie pianist Drive ‘Em Down, but it was Dupree’s recording that influenced Fats Domino, Lloyd Price and Professor Longhair.

If we can’t laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at? On this week’s “A Cuppa at the Mosens” Thursday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps, we take a humorous look at life with blindness or limited sight. Whether it’s accidently speaking to an empty room, mistaking a manikin for a salesperson, or having a guide dog who has gotten you into some interesting situations, we often take disability too seriously and are sometimes afraid to even acknowledge the more light-hearted aspects of what some see as a life of darkness and despair.

I hope you're enjoying Jonathan's tribute to Dame Vera Lynn as much as I am. When he's done, don't touch your PC, your mobile device or your internet radio and join me in The Early Years on Mushroom FM.

At this crazy time of year, remember that the Mosen Explosion will still be starting an hour earlier than usual in some parts of the world, including Europe and the UK.
I single them out for mention this week, because on this week’s show, we’re paying tribute to a British national treasure on her very special day. I’m taking advantage of the fact that even though it will be Sunday for much of our listening audience, it will already be Monday 20 March in New Zealand. And Monday 20 March is the 100th birthday of the incomparable Dame Vera Lynn.
It's chilly and wintry still here in my part of Canada, but the Spring Equinox is coming whether the weather knows it or not. So, in order to encourage hope that this winter really will end someday soon, I'm going to pack this week's Celtic music show full of Spring things!

If you’ve listened to The Blind Side podcast this week, you will have heard a story involving travel that Bonnie and I recently took that was not as straightforward as it should have been.
While frustrating and taken at a difficult time for us, our most recent travel experience was trivial compared with what American Airlines dished out to seasoned traveller and guide dog handler, Sue Martin. Sue was the victim of repeated federal law violations, as well as plain old bad customer service.
