Well that got your attention now didn’t it? And rightly so. It’s that time of year again when the San Francisco Lighthouse is calling for applications for its Holman Prize for blind ambition. Any blind person throughout the world can apply and you could be awarded up to $25,000. I’ll be joined on The Mosen Explosion this week by Lee Kumutat, the San Francisco Lighthouse’s new Director of Communications to tell us all about the prize, what kind of entries float the boats of judges, and how you can apply.

From this Saturday at 2am Eastern, that’s 8pm Saturday in NZ, 6pm in Sydney and 7am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movie The Glenn Miller Story from 1954.
The Glenn Miller Story is a 1954 American biographical film about the eponymous American band-leader, directed by Anthony Mann and starring James Stewart in their second non-western collaboration.
