Remembering Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon this week on The Early Years!

Canadiana, the theme I started four weeks ago, is still on hiatus as I remember a pioneer of rock who passed away July 17 at the age of 89, Freddy Cannon, also known as Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon because of the driving bass drum in all of his songs. He charted 23 songs from 1959 to 1981, not all highly, but I will play them all. I grew up listening to Freddy Cannon's music and I loved it.
After my tribute to Freddy Cannon finishes, I'll play some what I'm calling linked songs. See if you agree.
