Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you what's in store on our fifth anniversary edition of Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's premier Folk and Celtic music show! OF course, we'll be doing what we always do: playing three hours of amazing Folk and Celtic music for your listening pleasure, but I plan to make this a rather reflective show. Where have we been? Where are we going? You know, all the big questions in life. We'll also be taking some time to pay tribute to Nanci Griffith, who wrote some absolutely awesome songs and who sadly passed away last weekend.

Actually, this was an auspicious day in Mushroom history, as it marked the world premier of A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That with Gary G! I mean, how can we not relive the hours that led up to such a memorable Mushroom moment?

After a couple of reboots, a fire alarm in our apartment building, and some other jiggery-pokery, I have managed to get the computer to behave as I want it to, so we're live after all! Hello there! Sara Hillis here to tell you that instead of the brand spanking new Canada Day episode I had planned for today’s show, we’ll be dipping into the archives with last year’s version. There is a long and stress-laden story behind this decision involving a rather ill-conceived plan to back up my files to Dropbox and the consequences of that plan, so rather than risk the computer shutting down in the middle of the show, I thought the encore presentation would be the way to go. If I can fix everything I broke by next week, I’ll be back with you live as usual.
