On The Mosen Explosion, it's the ones you can't get that are the most attractive

The Mosen Explosion is back for another forgettable four hours on the jolly old Mushroom FM.

On A Cuppa at the Mosens, is technology life changing for the blind, or over-sold?

With both US blindness conventions having concluded, we’re hoping for a bumper crop of listeners with interesting opinions calling into our global talk show this week.

We love a good NFB banquet address, and enjoy sitting together to listen to it intently. We don’t always agree with everything in every address, but we enjoy the care that is always taken to craft a cogent argument that makes us think.

On The Mosen Explosion, you say you want a resolution?

Whereas, Mushroom FM is an Internet radio station providing content primarily featuring music from the 1950s through to the 1980s; and

Whereas, individuals presenting radio shows on the station are colloquially known as “fun guys”; and

Whereas, the quality of the presentations of all but one of the “fun guys” is favourably commented upon by many; and

Open lines, open forum, this week on A Cuppa at the Mosens

If you heard last week’s show, the first to use Zoom Cloud Meetings, you’ll know that technically, it was a huge success. If you haven’t learned yet about our new ways to participate in Mushroom FM’s live call-in show, check out the show’s web page, http://MushroomFM.com/cuppa.

Later today, we're off to the parade. You can join us!

Two weeks ago today, New Zealand yelled with delight and sighed with relief, as we finally won the America's Cup back. This yachting trophy is the oldest prize in world sport, dating back to 1851.

Now New Zealanders are turning out all over the country to see the team and the Cup.

We love a good America's Cup victory parade, and a challenging technical task. So we're combining them, as Mushroom FM seeks, for the first time, to bring you live coverage of an outdoor event, streaming to our servers directly from an iPhone over 4G.

Exploding on the eve of a bold Mushroom Fm broadcast

The Mosen Explosion is back again, because, frankly, it’s so hard to get quality programming these days so what can we do?

It’s school holidays here in the Zealand of New, so if we can get either of the teenage bananas in residence awake in time, we may well here live banana updates. There is a lot of interesting banana news floating around at the moment.

The Smorgasbord says "Happy birthday Ringo"

I'm Jonathan Mosen, and every week day, I'm playing a wide variety of tunes, and chatting about this and that, at 3 AM Eastern time, that's 8 AM in the UK.
My Friday show is a special one, because it's Ringo Starr's birthday. He's turning 77 on 07/07. Golly!
So the smorgasbord is completely dedicated to Ringo, featuring music from him with the Beatles and on his own.
So celebrate with Ringo and me on the Smorgasbord, only on Mushroom FM.

A Cuppa at the Mosens, an open forum and better ways to contribute

With our listeners in the northern hemisphere well into holiday mode, we’re having a relaxed open forum where you can chat about anything on A Cuppa at the Mosens this week. We’d love to hear from you, with our clearer, easier ways to contribute.

We’ve evaluated the show from a technical perspective and are making changes that will make it even easier to call in, and the audio quality much better for more callers.

Celebration and live music. It's a special Mosen Explosion

We certainly have plenty to celebrate on this week’s Mosen Explosion. In case you haven’t heard yet, the America’s Cup is once again New Zealand’s cup, and we’ve been in celebration mode all week. It’s hard to believe we thrashed Oracle Team USA by a comprehensive 7 races to 1, which was in reality eight races to one.

Calling into A Cuppa at the Mosens now easier and clearer than ever

We’ve been thrilled by the response we’ve had week after week to our global call-in show, A Cuppa at the Mosens. Thanks to everyone who has called us since we started in January.

We’ve evaluated the show from a technical perspective and are making changes that will make it even easier to call in, and the audio quality much better for more callers.
