Relive our holiday countdown on Mushroom FM, and for the first time, Apple Music and Spotify

On behalf of the fun guys at Mushroom FM, thanks to everyone whose votes put the top 100 together, and who made our party so special through their participation.

There were some firsts about this year's countdown. It was the first on a Saturday, the first to start at 7 AM Eastern, and most significant of all, the first on Mastodon which turned out to be a huge success.

We have another first for you, prompted by a suggestion on Mastodon. While not every song, or version we played, is available on the streaming music services, most are. So, in case you want to add some of these songs to your own playlist, we've assembled Apple Music and Spotify playlists of most of the songs you voted for. My sincere thanks to Sara Hillis for collating the Apple Music playlist, and Mara Kelland who looked after Spotify. I appreciate the time and effort they put into this.

Of course, you can't beat the real thing, the Mushroom FM countdown with all the party banter and bad Christmas cracker jokes. If you missed some of it when it aired live, or you'd like to relive the magic, it will replay in its entirety for the full 10 hours starting at 1 AM Eastern on Christmas morning.
