Take a listen. The Mosen Explosion has a fresh coat of paint

Still going strong after well over 20 years on the jolly old Interweb, the Mosen Explosion is back for another year with a face lift. Now all I need is to get a face lift of my own!

This year, the Mosen Explosion comes packed with fun, including more whimsical and whacky news stories, things that make you go “hmm”, and a new daily feature, the brain exploder. Here’s how it works.

At the beginning of the show, I’ll give you the brain exploder question, something that has an impossibly difficult answer but which it’s fun to speculate about. If you’re on Twitter, what I hope you will do is share your thoughts on what you think the answer to the brain exploder is, via the Mushroom FM hashtag. We might be able to generate a bit of healthy debate during the show. At the end of the hour, I’ll tell you the answer to the brain exploder, at which point you are likely to go, “wow”, or “dude”, or “oh of course”!

You know how they say history never repeats? You know how they say history never repeats? Oh wait, I just repeated that! Well, it does repeat quite a bit if you’ve been doing that segment as long as we have. We may give the occasional nod to someone celebrating a birthday, but the history segment is largely retired in favour of new, more bouncy, innovative segments.

Of course, there’s still plenty of room for your hellos and your requests.

So, take a fresh listen to an old friend, I think you’re going to love what’s in store on the Mosen Explosion this year. And what a comfort in this ever-changing word in which we’re living that it is on at the same time, every weekday at 2 AM and PM Eastern, 7 AM and PM in the UK. Not sure where that is where you are? All you gotta do is head on over to the Mushroom FM Schedule page http://mushroomfm.com/schedule where it’s displayed in your own time zone.

See you soon, and every weekday for the jolly old Mosen Explosion.
