Calling into A Cuppa at the Mosens now easier and clearer than ever

We’ve been thrilled by the response we’ve had week after week to our global call-in show, A Cuppa at the Mosens. Thanks to everyone who has called us since we started in January.

We’ve evaluated the show from a technical perspective and are making changes that will make it even easier to call in, and the audio quality much better for more callers.

Starting on the 6 July show, we’ll be using Zoom Cloud Meetings as our platform to run the show. Zoom have free apps for PC, Mac, iOS and Android. They’re accessible, and easy to use. And the audio quality is far better than a phone call. Now, it’s far easier than it used to be to call from your Mac or PC using a microphone headset, and the iOS and Android apps give outstanding quality as well.

Still want to keep it old-school and use the phone? No problem. Phone numbers remain for all the countries where one existed before, although the numbers and the PIN you need to dial have changed.

We’ve made phoning easier as well. If you have a smartphone, when you visit the page for the show at http://www.MushroomFm.com/cuppa from your phone, double-tapping the phone number for your country will cause the number to be dialled, then the PIN entered without you having to do a thing. You’re welcome!

Why not take the time to visit our all new page for the show, learn a bit about how Zoom works, and download and set it up for your device of choice. You’ll be glad you did, and it’s software that’s increasingly being used in a wide variety of contexts, so you’re sure to eventually use it for more than this show.

On 6 July, our show is going to be an open forum, the first time we’ve done that, where any topic goes. It’s your chance to test the new call-in options, and have a chat about whatever you like.

So do check out the new participation options that make the show clearer and easier to call than ever. http://MushroomFM.com/cuppa.

See you on Thursday.
