The Mosen Explosion's online, and on the phone

I'm taking a break from loading the Mushroom Flyer with birthday provisions to bring you another jolly old Mosen Explosion. First, my sincere thanks to uncle Dean for taking such good care of the show last week with all that talk about school days when I was stricken! Stricken I was! But now I'm unstricken and I can't wait to get back on the air.

Saturday Sounds in the Shed.

It’s almost 11pm Eastern on a Saturday night.
This means it’s almost 4am Sunday morning in the UK, and 3PM Sunday afternoon here in New Zealand.
This means I’ll be waiting for ya inside the shed.
I’ll be ready to play those tunes, good and bad, happy and sad.
The usual features are still there, and so is the opportunity to get in your requests.
And, if you’ve never contacted the show before, but listen most weekends, feel free to come and say hi, I won’t mentioned your name on air if you’d prefer.

bonair's back

VBonair’s Back, Saturday 6:00 – 8:00 EST on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. Yes, I have recovered from my cold and am ready to play your favourite tunes, chat about all sort of subjects, and introduce you to our newest kitchen gadget in “Food for Thought”. We will be paying tribute to country legend, Merle Haggard, who sadly passed away this week at age 79. So, if you don’t want to get on the fightin side of me, tune in and join in. Here it is! Proudly announcing Mushroom FM's sixth birthday celebrations

On 25 April 2010, Mushroom FM took Internet broadcasting to a new level, with its fun brand of radio and innovative use of social media.

We were sleeping for our fourth and fifth birthdays, but we’re once again wide awake and ready to party like it’s 2016. This will be our best birthday party ever, and the place for all things birthday this year as http://www.MushroomFM.com/birthday2016.

Farewell and thanks to two former fun guys

We hope that when you tune into a Mushroom FM show, it all sounds effortless. The reality is though that committing to a show on Mushroom FM is a commitment of more than just the hours that the show airs. The fun guys often think of themes and put music together based on them. There may be features that require some research, and often, we’re looking for things to say in our voice breaks that keep you interested. In short, it’s a bigger commitment than you may realise and I’m grateful to everyone who volunteers their time for Mushroom FM.

Saturday Night, alive in the Shed.

Bring it on!
I’m going to be in such a good mood, too.
New Zealand gets an extra hours sleep this week, since we finally go back to standard time.
So I’ll have extra energy, which means the possibility of more crazy music, or perhaps I’ll attempt to do headstands, while broadcasting.
I have no idea what’s going to happen, but I do know if you tune in from 11PM Eastern this Saturday, that’s 4am Sunday in the UK and 3PM Sunday afternoon here in New Zealand, you won’t miss out on what may or may not happen.
You won’t miss out on this week’s triple threat.

The Land Sings family life

Hello all-
The Land Sings this week is about family in the first hour. We have songs about young people, old people, things in between.

In the second hour, we wax political with songs about Martin Luther King and "Mississippi Burning". I hope you will join me at 11pm Eastern, 4pm in New Zealand.

The Mosen Explosion launches the great kombucha experiment

If you're in Europe, and yes for the moment at least we can include the UK in that group, then you'll be pleased to know that with the clocks going forward in that part of the world, the normal relationship with Eastern US time is restored, so the jolly old Mosen Explosion is back when you usually expect it to start.

If you're in New Zealand, well, we're still in this crazy transitional period when it starts at 7 AM. I dunno, all this scary messing with time.

Hipety hop! It's the Easter Bonnie

Hipety hop! It’s the Easter Bonair Saturday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST on mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. We will be featuring a lot of music by sir Elton John, who turned 69 on March 25, plus anything you would like to request. There will be a “Food for Thought” that doesn’t involve chocolate or rabbit, and we will banter about all kinds of things. So put on your bunny slippers and tune in. If you’d like to get in touch with the show, email bonnieatmushroomfm.com or tweet @bonniemosen.

It’s Easter time in the shed

Please join me this Saturday from 11pm Eastern, that’s 4am Sunday in the UK and 4PM Easter Sunday here in New Zealand.
No triple threat or Live and loud segment this week.
Instead, we’ll be playing the entire Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack.
Either side of this, there will be plenty of good music, and of course your requests.
