Missed the fun of Mushroomstock 2016? Here are the replay times

To paraphrase Jimmy Buffet, it's midnight somewhere, so we realise that Mushroomstock, our incredible virtual live music festival, was on at a bad time for some of our global audience.

To allow you to experience the magic or relive it, we're rerunning Mushroomstock over three days. And we've been careful to choose times that are great for those where the live airing was in the middle of the night.

Part one of Mushroomstock 2016 will air for four hours, right after Woofman's World Music at 10 PM Eastern.

The verdict is in. It's a topsy-turvy Mosen Explosion

There are few things in life that would keep me away from the Mosen Explosion family. Very very few. You may recall that back in 2011, I started my show an hour late because of the special 60th anniversary extended edition of The Archers, the BBC radio drama that's been running non-stop since 1951, and which I've been listening to for over 40 years.

It's a sort of Father's Day Mosen Explosion

It was father's day 21 years ago that i found out we were expecting our little Heidi banana. Although we didn't know she was going to be a Heidi banana at that point because it was too early for even the most ultra of ultrasounds to know that. Now, I'm celebrating father's day with four rapidly growing bananas. How the time flies.

We're excited to welcome Matt the Cat to Mushroom FM

Thanks to everyone who has made the choice to listen to Mushroom FM more often and for longer since we became your station for four decades of magic mushroom memories.

We're always looking for new ways to explore the diversity of riches offered by the decades we focus on. We're delighted to welcome someone who will bring us the music that started it all.

Here's how Matt the Cat describes his show, Juke in the Back.

Over the last nearly 50 years, music has been rocked by some truly memorable LIVE festivals, including Live Eight, Live Aid, and that grand daddy of them all, Woodstock.

And there's yet another special festival people still talk about in hushed, nostalgic tones. The one where, for two consecutive years, Mushroom FM used the power of the Internet to have listeners virtually get together at Fungus Field for a music festival that did the impossible not once, but twice.

The Mosen Explosion, this week the show with big news and new buttons

There are certain truths in life. Death, taxes, and no one does special events quite like Mushroom Fm.

The Mosen Explosion: with eyes that don't see in the dark

Welcome! I just dropped in, to see what condition your condition is in, and to tell you that we are exploding once again on the mighty marvellous Mushroom FM.

Mushroom Fm's new format, with cool new interactive features, explained

It’s a big day for us at Mushroom FM on Monday, as from 12 AM, we become the station we hope you’ll choose when you’re in the mood for four decades of magic Mushroom memories. So what exactly does that mean, and what is the station going to sound like?

Our primary purpose will be to bring you music from the 1950s through to the 1980s. Much of the time, you’ll hear a great blend of music from all four decades, and in a cool new interactive feature on our website, you can have a say in what we play. More on that in a bit.

As the finger hovers over the reset button, it's The Mosen Explosion

It's almost that time of the week again, when we invite you to tune in for four hours of exploding nonsense and great listener chat, as well as a wide selection of the best music ever made.
