The verdict is in. It's a topsy-turvy Mosen Explosion
There are few things in life that would keep me away from the Mosen Explosion family. Very very few. You may recall that back in 2011, I started my show an hour late because of the special 60th anniversary extended edition of The Archers, the BBC radio drama that's been running non-stop since 1951, and which I've been listening to for over 40 years.
The Archers, which is on at the time The Mosen Explosion starts, has a couple of other milestones this week. For the first time in its 65-year history, they are producing an hour-long episode. And that's because the long-running story line which has culminated in a court trial climaxes with the verdict of that trial.
Can I miss it and catch up later on the podcast? No, I definitely cannot. And nor can Bonnie. We never, ever miss an episode of The Archers, and this is arguably the biggest episode in the show's history. We want to hear this one together as the world hears it, waiting on tenterhooks.
But never fear, I know not everyone who listens to the Explosion is into The Archers. I'm not sure why that is, but it's true.
So The Mosen Explosion is topsy-turvy this week, as we do what's normally the last hour first. The first hour will be voice-tracked this week, and take you back to this day in history and I'll comment on a few other things that have happened this week.
We're back fully live and interactive as usual for the last three hours, as we look ahead to a fabulous MushroomStock 2016 which is now less than a week away. Got your tickets yet? Hurry hurry!
We'll find out how many of our listeners have gone for a new iPhone or Apple Watch, what you got and when you're schedule to get it.
Bonnie will be here with her bulletin, and of course there is plenty of room as ever for your phone calls, your tweets and your email.
So we still have four fun-filled hours for you on this week's Mosen Explosion, right after Darren at 2 Pm Eastern, 7 PM UK, only on the highly awesome Mushroom FM.
