The World Series and Long Songs part 16 this week on The Early Years.

After you've enjoyed The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen tomorrow afternoon from 2 to 4 PM with his brain exploders and great music, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
The Toronto Blue Jays punched their ticket to the World Series Monday night with a 4-3 7th game victory over the Seattle Mariners thanks to a 7th-inning, 3-run home run by George springer. They'll now play the Los Angeles Dodgers starting Friday night in Toronto in a best of 7 game series.
I'll begin this week's show with two songs, one each for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles dodgers. Then I'll return to long songs when The music will be from 1978-79. This is part 16 of the theme I began on The Early Years return May 7. This theme will continue for several more shows but I'll be taking a break for the next two weeks to feature Halloween songs next week and remember John Lodge of the Moody Blues who passed away October 10 at the age of 82.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly long songs.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories playing long songs, after The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for a Mushroom FM Request stop during which you can have your say about what gets played. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before another Mushroom FM Request stop, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
