Coming up, as this decade draws to a close, the last Mosen At Large of the decade. let's recap
It’s been a long, strange, very difficult year for many, and it also marks the end of this decade. So what an opportunity on the last Mosen At Large show on Mushroom FM for the decade to reflect on all that has happened during the last decade, particularly in the technology arena.
Take a look back to the technology you were using when this decade began in 2011, what you’re using now, and send in your thoughts on what has been most impactful for you. I certainly have a few thoughts and look forward to hearing yours. Has this decade been one of innovation? Or is it fairly pedestrian compared to the decade preceding this one which included major smartphone and tablet development.
In terms of this year, the pandemic has of course been the big story. In difficult times, music often sees us through. Music gives us comfort, hope and inspiration. A listener has sent through the names of some songs that have helped him through the pandemic, and would like to hear about the music that has helped you navigate these turbulent times.
We’ll have a little more on tape recorders, a look at the Rivo 2 Bluetooth keyboard, and yes, we will bring you part two this week of the Amazon Fire TV review, this time now that it’s set up, giving you a thorough demo of the features.
As usual, there’s a wide array of blindness and technology topics from listeners on which you may like to comment once you hear them.
If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome.
Getting your contributions in ahead of time leaves you free to hear the show, and gives me a chance to organise them all, so go for it. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. To contribute, send an email with an audio attachment or just written down to Jonathan at MushroomFM.com, or call the listener line, +18646066736, that’s 1-864-60Mosen.
