Coming up this weekend on Mosen at Large, one of the most important things it's possible to talk about, your health and well-being

Hi again from Wellington, New Zealand’s cool little capital. I’m very much looking forward to being back with you for another edition of Mosen at Large, which will be thought-provoking and entertaining because of all the listener contributions.

Who knows where you may choose to take the show, but Here are some of the things we’ll be talking about based on what we’ve received so far.

We’re going to spend a bit of time this week talking about one of the most important subjects, your health and well-being. One of the reasons I called this show Mosen At Large is that there’s a lot that interests me beyond technology. Life is super good because after trying a lot of things, I’ve settled on a great mix of ketogenic eating and meditation. I have incredible energy levels and have never felt better. We’ve had an email from a listener who is going through a very rough time health-wise right now, and is interested in learning more about doing keto. I’ll share my own experience and recommend a few resources, plus I’ll speak with two other people with different backgrounds, lifestyles, and reason for adopting the keto lifestyle.

If you have turned your health around and would like to share what worked for you, whether that be keto or another lifestyle, as well as any resources that can offer further information, do feel free to get in touch.

If you’re a fan of all the tech stuff, don’t worry, there is still plenty of that on the show this week. People are still expressing their views on Apple excluding blind people from the first public beta of watchOS. If you haven’t yet and would like to, you are welcome to sign the petition at http://petition.mosen.org. As I write, it’s about to hit 1,000 signatures. Thanks so much for all the support. It’s been heart-warming to get signatures from people who have never signed an online petition before just as I have never set one up before, but who appreciate the importance of the principle at stake.

We’ll have a talk about one of the great blessings and curses of the last couple of decades, email lists. They can be very helpful, but they can also have a very high signal to noise ratio. A listener discusses the problem. Are you still on email lists or have you abandoned them in favour of social media?

Following our talk in last week’s show with David Kingsbury, we’re continuing to get feedback on how accessible you think the web is on a scale of 1 to 10. What’s your verdict?

If time permits, we may even get really retro with our technology!

You are very welcome, and in fact encouraged, to get contributions in ahead of time. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. To contribute, send an email with an audio attachment or just written down to Jonathan at MushroomFM.com, or call the listener line, +18646066736, that’s 1-864-60Mosen.

The best way to hear Mosen At Large is when it airs live and in full on Mushroom FM at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK on Saturday. It will then be available in abridged form on the Mosen At Large podcast, available anywhere you get podcasts.

Thank you so much for listening and contributing to the show, and see you soon for Mosen At Large.
