It's a blast from the past this week on The Early Years!
Affter you've enjoyed Mushroom FM's tech magazine show, Mosen At Large, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00 PM, during which I hope all your tech questions get answered, don't touch that dial and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's a blast from the past this week with two hours of all 50s music!
At 05:00 PM, Monday, July 4, 2016, a new voice, mine, and a new show, Lost In The 50s, debuted on Mushroom FM. It ran for an hour Monday to Thursday until Aug. 12, 2016, when it became a daily show Monday to Friday. The show continued until Friday, Sept. 23 and The Early Years debuted two days later.
The opportunity to hear how it all began for me at exactly the same time it happened won't come again until 2026, my 10th anniversary on Mushroom FM, should I be so lucky to get there.
Hear how it all began and ended with all the blemishes and memories of other Mushroom FM past shows this week on The Early Years.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly songs about days of the week, which theme will return next week.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00 PM, for the first and last editions of my first Mushroom FM show, Lost In The 50s, after Mosen At Large and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after "Deep Dive" with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
And remember, if you use Internet Explorer as your audio player to listen to Mushroom FM, you won't be able to do that as of tomorrow. You'll have to use Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
