"Seconds" continues this week on The Early Years!

After you've enjoyed the tech talk and Christmas music on The Mosen Explosion, don't touch that virtual dial and join me for The Early Years where you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres and no Christmas music until next week.
This week, it's part 7 of my mammoth, multi-part, listener-suggested theme begun 6 weeks ago, "Seconds" (the songs not the time interval). If an artist's first song reached #1, what did their second song do? As you'll hear, some did well and others didn't and you may hear some songs you haven't heard in a long time if ever.
I'll pick up the theme in August 1967 where I left off last week and continue to December 1971. I'll eventually get to the end of what I consider to be Rock and Roll's Golden Age, its first quarter century, 1979, but not for the next two weeks, as it'll be an all Christmas show next week, and a salute to 1959, as the 50s decade becomes more than 60 years ago, the following week.
You can contact me any time by email at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows; and anything else you want to talk about as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, for more "Seconds", tonight at 06:00 PM, after The Mosen Explosion and before Snow White FM. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
And don't forget to vote! Time is fast running out!
