Come one, come all, to our 2018 holiday party at 9 AM Eastern on Sunday

One of our favourite traditions that has been established in recent years is the Mushroom FM Christmas party.

Sure, we get together to play the top 100 songs as voted for by our wonderful listeners, and hopefully, you cast your vote when voting was open. But it’s also about just getting together, enjoying some festive tunes and having a few laughs in good company.

If you voted, you’ll have been assigned a seat at one of our four Christmas tables: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen. If you didn’t vote, never fear, we can still get you a seat at one of the tables during the party. The more interactive you are, with a fun Christmas joke, a witty comment or any kind of cool contribution, the more likely you are to win Christmas crackers for your table. We’ll be updating you during the party with the scoreboard, so you can see which table is leading. When we close the cracker machine at the beginning of the 10th hour, the table with the most crackers gets bragging rights as the victorious table for 2018.

As well as the party fun, the countdown should prove interesting. Did “Baby, it’s cold outside” get on the chart or was it boycotted? Will Dominic the Donkey surge back to the top of the charts after his brief fall from grace last year? And which versions of popular Christmas songs will the fun guys choose to play?

There’s only one way to have these and other important questions answered, and that’s to join us for 10 hours of live entertainment, produced in the way that only Mushroom FM can. Join fun guys Sara Hillis, Gordon Luke, Richard Mosen and Jonathan Mosen, with appearances from the Snowman and Steve Cutway.
