Hello, I'm Steve Cutway. It's all about summer tonight as I present summer songs primarily from the 50s. I have lots of version comparisons including a mammoth one that I hope you'll find interesting, and a couple of tripple plays. Next week, I'll complete my survey with summer songs from the 60s.

More great Celtic music is the order of the day this week on Come by the Hills, including a "Celtic Cover" involving not one, not two, but three jugs of punch. There's also another simple single in "Me Music," some fiddle tunes from The Green Fields of America, and lots of other great listening as usual.

Hello, I'm Steve Cutway. Sir Paul McCartney's 75th birthday isn't the only celebration today. It's Father's Day in North America and I'm honouring them with songs from the 50s and 60s about dads, daddies and papas.

After being missing in action last week due to a throat infection, I’m back at the top of the hour, which isn’t that far away!

Sir James Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool on 18 June 1942, so this week on The Mosen Explosion, all the music we play will have a Paul McCartney connection. We’ll hear music from him as a solo artist, songs he’s written that were recorded by others, songs he has produced, songs he did with Wings, and of course, plenty of Beatles.

SnowWhiteFM takes to the air tonight, for yet another amusing and entertaining evening of great music of the 60's and 70's, sprinkled in among the unpredictable antics of the Snowman. And tonight, Steve from Ohio drops in to add his own inimitable bit of color. Will talk radio, about Wolfman Jack, and we'll also sit back, scratch our collective heads, and wonder what the heck to say. And that, my friend, is when the unexpected happens.

As my Apple Watch informs me, the days are getting longer and longer, and this coming week will be the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. This day has traditionally been called Midsummer's Day and has been a time of dancing, bonfires and general merry-making to honour the high-point of the growing season. We're going to celebrate this on Come by the Hills this week with a few songs about summer for your enjoyment. We'll have a summer-themed "Celtic Cover," another one of my "simple singles" in our feature called "Me Music," and a whole lot more.
