After you've been entertained by The Mosen Explosion, don't touch that device and join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.

The exploding revolution continues. Enjoy it in full and unabridged only right here

Revolutions and explosions often go together you know!

When life changed in amazing ways for me with my new job, I was confronted by three seemingly irreconcilable truths. The first truth is that if I thought I had been leading a busy life before, I ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

The second truth was that the Mosen Explosion had been going for so long that even though more people heard my podcasts, I couldn’t give it up, it was purely a heart over head, sentimental thing. I love the atmosphere we’ve all created together and it’s a great escape.

The top 100 of 1959 continues this week on The Early Years!

After you've enjoyed The Mosen Explosion, don't touch that dial and join me for The Early Years where you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Last December and January, it was the top 100 of 1958; in April, it was the top 100 of 1969; and now the top 100 of 1959 that I started last week continues. This week, I pick up the countdown at #70 and continue to #40; and I'm sure there will be songs you haven't heard in a long time if ever. There are for me.

And now for something completely different. Monty Python turns 50 on The Mosen Explosion

50 years ago, on 5 October 1969, a crazy, ground-breaking show called Monty Python’s Flying Circus aired on BBC television for the first time. No one quite knew what to expect and the cast wondered if it was going to be too weird for the public. Of course, the rest is history. It’s some of the best-loved comedy of all time.

SO we don’t need much of an excuse to dust off the old Monty Python. If you have a favourite Monty Python sketch of song, feel free to get in touch and request it.
