Old, New, Borrowed and Blue--or Something, this week on Come by the Hills!

Yes, it's time once again for another three hours of great Celtic music on Mushroom FM! This week, there's a brand new version of a very special (to me at least) song I wrote some years ago in "Me Music," another new song from Loreena McKennitt's upcoming album which is due out on May 11, some classic folk song-related comedy from Anna Russell instead of "Celtic Covers," and even a salute to ANZAC Day which happened on April 25.

Earth Day, Easter 1916 and More, this Week on Come by the Hills!

This week will mark the 102nd anniversary of the Easter rising in ireland, so we'll be saluting that this week instead of our usual "Celtic Covers" segment, and almost unconsciouslly, I seem to have planned a few songs in honour of Earth Day! We do have our other regular features, we also have a request to fulfill, and of course we have our usual three hours of great Celtic music!

Celtic Music is Back this Week on Come by the Hills!

It's time once again for three hours of great Celtic music on Mushroom FM. We've got all our usual features this week, and plenty of amazing music to entertain and delight you. It may be icy and chilly here in Ontario, but we've got Celtic fire to keep us warm.

Tune in on Sunday night at 8:00 PM Eastern after Steve and The Early Years, or catch the replay on Friday morning at 4:00 AM Eastern after Jonathan and The Daily Fibre.

A New Album Preview and So Much More, this Week on Come by the Hills!

Yes, I said I'd be back, and I am. It's time once again for another trip through the folky favourites on Come by the Hills, the Celtic Music Show! The usual features are back, and we've got a preview of Loreena McKennitt's new album which is called Lost Souls, and is due out on may 11. I'd like to say that I have an in with the artist and that's how I got this new song, but alas no. I simply pre-ordered the album on iTunes. We will play the entire album when it comes out, but we'll have a taste of it tonight and perhaps over subsequent weeks if more songs become available.

No Sara Smiles Today

Hi all,

For those who listen to Sara Smiles regularly, I know i promised you a Friday show, but technical difficulties and time constraints have forced me to cancel it for today. I will be back on Monday with more Sara Smiles, and of course there will be another episode of Come by the Hills, the Celtic Music Show on Sunday night as usual. So, never fear! You're in good hands with the Mushroom Pot for today! So, till we meet again, I hope you stay loose, don't sweat the small stuff and be the change you want to see in the world!

No Foolin'! Come by the Hills is back this Week with Some Great Celtic Music!

What can I say about this week's edition of Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's premier Celtic Music Show? Well, I can say that it's happening. Yes, we've got three hours of great Celtic and folky music to while away your Sunday evening. Or if you can't catch the show in its actual time-slot after Steve Cutway and The Early Years, there's always the Friday morning replay, right after The Daily Fibre! So tune in and have a great time!

Come Along for another Episode of Come by the Hills!

Yes, it's almost that time again, time for Celtic music on a Sunday night! Our usual features are back where they should be, and we've even got an opening theme song now! Yes, we're going to be book-ending the show with Enya from now on!

So, if this sounds exciting to you, then tune in for Come by the Hills on Sunday night after Steve Cutway and The Early Years, that's at 8:00 PM Eastern, or on Friday morning after The Daily Fibre with Jonathan Mosen himself! Whenever you tune in, I hope you'll have fun.

The Big Day is Here this Week on Come by the Hills!

Yes, just when you think you've consumed your last green beer, and when your "kiss me, I'm Irish" button has been put away for the year, St. Patrick's Day is just getting started on Mushroom FM! That's right. On Sunday night at 8:00 PM, Come by the Hills, the Celtic Music Show, is going Irish in a big way! We'll be having lots of legendary Irish artists and artists from around the world who have been inspired by the Irish sound to make similar music themselves.

Come by the Hills is Back Again!

Yes, it's another week of Celtic music with all the features intact and everything! I figured I'd get a nice normal (as normal as it ever is anyway) show in before we pull out all the stops for St. Patrick's Day next week. So, lots of great music, features and all the informative and fun banter you've come to expect from Mushroom FM's best (well, only) Celtic Music show!

Catch us on Sunday night (tonight) at 8:00 PM Eastern Daylight time, or on Friday morning after Jonathan Mosen's Daily Fibre!
