A Visit from the Past, this Week on Come by the Hills!

Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you what's coming up on this week's edition of Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's Folk and Celtic music show. As I'm off on a trip this weekend, I've decided to revisit an episode from last year. On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of her breakthrough album, The Visit, Canadian singer and composer Loreena McKennitt released a box set called The Visit, the Definitive Edition. I did a show profiling this collection of alternative mixes, live performances and interviews last year, and this weekend, Loreena is launching her The Visit Revisited tour of several cities around North America. This is her first major tour in over three years, and so, whether you're able to get to one of the concerts and want to get psyched up, or whether you just want to live vicariously through the power of radio, I hope you'll enjoy this encore presentation of Come by the Hills from September 25, 2021.
