New Year's Night 2017, I played the top songs of 1967, 50 years ago. Last week, I played the top songs of 1957, 60 years ago. This week, to end the month of January, I'll split the difference and go ahead five years to 1962, 55 years ago. There were 21 #1 songs as in 1967, coincidence, I'm sure; but they were still generally shorter than 1967. As well as the top songs of 1962, you'll hear an alternate take of the #100 song from that year.
